Put a fork in me I'm done! Christmas 2017 was a BLAST! We took a TON of photos, had a TON of fun, captured a MILLION cute little moments, & made some new friends along the way! As much as I love ya'll, but, when my side gig turns into a 18 hour work day, 7 days a week for 6 weeks, a lady gets a little tired. I did have a bunch of clever things to say, with cute photos that went along, "you snooze you lose" or "lights out on Christmas pics" or "it's a wrap". Ehhhh, you see my point, no more appointments, no more editing, no more photog mode, I am unavailable. My family misses me, I MISS THEM, & I have a lot of holiday cheer to catch up on. So here is the last batch of over sharing for the 2017 Super Fall Christmas season. Studio 3100, meaning, little ole me, is officially on MOM duty. Catch ya on the flip side #2018 ✌️🎄

I don't blog, we don't have a real website, I'm not very regular with sharing any of our work, don't ask me for a business card because I don't have one, but I'm trying. I'm a no frills kind of gal, I like to keep it simple, but life with a few full time jobs & 3 boys is far from simple. That being said here are some Christmas photos... I like them, they look cool... see it is a work in progress.

I shared on my personal page but thought we could open it up & expand on the idea! I would LOVE to shiplap the studio. So we are running a $20 'Shiplap the Studio' sale! Your $20 contribution gets you a 15 minute shoot. As many poses & subjects we can get in the 15 minutes. All edited images. Setup would be the new awesome shiplap obviously! Good morning everyone! Super Small Business Saturday is almost a go! We will do a bunch of different stuff today. All will be listed in this post. So turn those notifications on & tag your friends. We will do some normal stuff, but My favorite, Is a "best offer" idea. Kind of like a silent auction. I will put up a shoot with details, all will be a standard super mini, with one subject. Then through Facebook you send me (Kimberly Jewell, not the business page,) with the offer & description. If your offer is too low your offer will be declined, if it's good, it will be accepted & Facebook payment must be made immediately! Minimum prices will be shared with a third-party for quality control. This sounds crazy fun. Plus since it's small business Saturday, we don't have to share our Facebook payments with 'the man'! -Kimberly (sometimes Nikki too)

I know there are a lot of people still interested, or they are on the fence about doing Christmas photos. Well, little old me is about at her absolute max, currently I am editing about 10 hours a day & I haven't gotten my family groceries in weeks, they hate me. I anticipate that we will be sold out of all Christmas sessions as of today. For sure there are absolutely no more appointments available through the rest of November. Please if you would like to hold your spot get that deposit paid asap as I will be shutting the online store down sometime this evening. THAT SAID... If the editing & weather gods are on my side I may be able to open the deposit store back open for a few new appointments in early December if I miraculously get caught up & I am bored, but that is yet to be determined. 🎄👩‍💻🎅😵

I have been a professional wedding photographer for well over a decade now. You know what I have learned? My favorite photos aren't planned. In this day and age of Pinterest inspiration and over planning, my favorite photos just happen. I might not have the ideal lighting, or my best camera, or just the right lens, or the exact f stop that I would have wanted, but they come out just perfect. Do you know why? I see so many perfectly photoshopped photos that are perfectly... boring. Call me old fashioned but a photograh should make you FEEL something. So here are some of my most perfectly imperfect images, blurry, messy, full of the feels & beautiful all at the same time. Because the perfect moment never happens, life is a mess of imperfect moments put together perfectly. Daisha & Ben, unplanned, unposed, b-roll backup camera, that is just oh so perfect, because it is real.
