Hey y’all. Guess what Swan update: Web have 3 EGGS now!! Mamma (pen) can have - 3 to 8 or 10 to 12 eggs in her clutch (egg group) depending on what you read. Laying them every other day so it could take 2 to 3 weeks for this. In the meantime Dad (cob) tends the nest while she moves around and comes to lay more eggs. Once she is done laying all her eggs in her clutch then she will start sitting on and turning them. That process can take 42 days. At this point he is sitting and more eggs keep appearing so we’re still in laying mode. I’m so excited every time I see another egg. This is going to be an amazing experience for us. It’ll be so awesome to see her start sitting on them to incubate the eggs cause then we’ll start the count down to baby swans (cygnets).
