Here are the details:
Monologues from the Black Box event details
Date: Friday, February 23rd
Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Location: Friendship Tech Prep Black Box
Goal: Raise 5,000.00 towards spring recital

Needs: Caterer, Floral, Audio Visual, Staging, draping, chairs, high-top cocktail tables

Description: This event will be Friendship Tech Prep’s Black History event and fundraiser for our Spring recital. During this event, guest will witness musical, dance, and artistic performances from our Arts Department scholars. The highlight of the evening will be monologue presentations from our theater students in our new Tech Prep Black box.

Join the Greater Suburban Maryland Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. on November 9, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m., for our fundraising event, “Beats in Black,” at The Park at 14th in Washington, D.C. As we commemorate 50 years of Hip Hop, we will party with a purpose and pay homage to an era of music and culture.

The Jack and Jill Foundation and FAME – Foundation for the Advancement of Music &
Education will both benefit from the “Beats in Black” proceeds. FAME offers middle and high school students music instruction, academic support in the form of weekly STEM lessons, college preparation through tutoring, study skills development and SAT prep, and career readiness to give every young musician the best chance to succeed in life.
