Holiday season is upon us and I've been extremely busy with events. However, this week I get a little reprieve aka the calm before the storm before doing Thanksgiving meals so I will be offering soup, salads, take-and-bakes and plates this week. Everything is preorder and prepay as usual. Deadline is 5pm the day before the item you order.

No plates this week. I'm preparing for big event next week, have death in my family and Julianne has lots of appointments. Then it seems I'll be going right into Thanksgiving organizing, shopping and prep. I'll try my best to do plates, salads and take-and-bakes one more time before Thanksgiving. I've been buying greens from a local farmer daily. I pick, cook then freeze them for Thanksgiving meals. I could go another route but I always try to bring my customers the freshest food I can even if it's more labor intensive and may cost a lil more. So this is what my week has been like thus far. I get a huge bag every day. Its a lot of work. It'll be worth it though on Thanksgiving.

Hey guys. It's been a good little while. These doctor appointments for both me and Julianne coupled with vacations and catering events has had me SUPER BUSY! Two days after coming home from my cruise I had a wedding to do. Thanks and congratulations to the Elliot family on their son's nuptials. It was truly my pleasure serving you. But November is when my busy season actually starts. Remember, Thanksgiving is full already and I only have 2 or 3 spots left for catering businesses in November. With that being said, I miss my weekly plates, take-and-bakes and salads and I'm even gonna throw some soup in there this week. I'll post this week's menu today. Be looking out!👀

Quick update...I didn't cook this week because my (foster) daughter hit a milestone with her battle with cancer. She had her last chemo treatment yesterday and that was cause for celebration! I catered for myself on yesterday. We had team members, friends and family members over for a get-together and we had a great time. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to cook next week either as I prepare for my vacation. What I want to do is to try to squeeze a Sunday dinner in 9/29. Watch page closely for updates. And as always thanks for your prayers and support!❤️🙂

Praising God for a busy productive week(end) but boy am I tired! Thursday sales were great and huge thanks to all that bought salads, take-and-bakes or meals. With both my daughters working full time jobs now, I did every single thing by myself and it wore me out. And with vacation coming soon I even catered for 2 customers on Saturday. I stayed up late for 2 nights in a row and woke up super early for 2 mornings in a row to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you Loving Springs Baptist Church and to Ms. Angela for trusting me with food for your events. Both ladies contacted me with good feedback before I had the chance to follow up. I always like to follow up. Another busy week ahead so I'm thanking God in advance for health, strength and power to go hard this last week before vacation. I pray that everyone had a great weekend and an even greater upcoming week!🙂

Thank you Barren County YMCA!!! This event was everything. You ladies sure know how to have a good time. Purse and Pamper fundraising event was a success. I can't believe out of 20 brand new designer purses I didn't win one but I sure had the best time. Thanks Libby.
