My heart is so heavy for our country this week. This one is to honor every patriot who is getting their hands dirty to help their neighbors in this time of need. May God bless them and equip them with divine mental, emotional and physical strength to continue being the hands and feet of Jesus for the thousands of Americans who are suffering right now.🙏🏼

Project 365 – Day 22
“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard” -Winnie the Pooh 🥺😭

So, I didn’t take these photos today, but while I’m still processing the fact that we won’t be able to spend our days at anymore 💔, I thought it would be a good time to share some photos that I never got around to posting of the girls birthday in the Spring. I’m literally crying writing this because The Nest the girls made so many memories within these walls and the space the Siegle’s created was SUCH a sanctuary for me during one of the hardest years of my life. I will be forever grateful for the conversations, the friendships, the crafts, the story times, the laughs, the celebrations and the sense of belonging The Nest brought to BGKY during our time here.

We are really going to miss this place. Please pray for my friends as they are mourning the end of this chapter and starting something new. I know whatever the Siegle’s put their hands on, it’s going to be pure magic! We love y’all!

“Winning football games is too small a thing to live for. And I love football as much as anybody. But even championship trophies will collect dust and one day be forgotten. It’s just that so far this has all been about us; how we can look good, how we can get the glory. The more I read this book, the more I realize that life’s not about us. We’re not here to get glory, make money, and die. The Bible says that God put us here for Him. To honour Him. Jesus said that the most important thing you can do with your life is to love God with everything you are, to love others and yourself. So if we win every game and we miss that, we’ve done nothing. Football then means nothing. So I’m here to present you a new team philosophy. God led me to try something a little different for our church’s Fall Merch Drop and at first I wasn’t sure what He was up to. 😂 But, after seeing how these designs turned out, I’m really grateful that He nudged me to have a some fun creatively with this collection and that encouraged me to follow those nudges! 🥹😍 These pieces will be on sale tomorrow before both services! Blessed to be able to glorify His name through photography & design. 🙌🏼

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2

Our culture has shined a much needed spotlight on the importance of mental health in recent years and as someone who has battled various mental health issues and strongholds throughout my life, I’m grateful that the conversation has been opened up and a sense of loneliness has been lifted for so many people, including myself. However, the problem I have always had with many therapy or rehabilitation programs is the emphasis on “self-help” and “behavior-modification.”

The more and more I’ve studied God’s Word, it’s become very clear to me that sin isn’t a behavior issue, it’s a heart issue and sometimes can even be a chemical or hormonal issue. God doesn’t tell us to “get it together” and “figure it out” on our own. He actually tells us to come to Him in total surrender, get to know His Word, cling to Him and other believers while walking in obedience and work on renewing our hearts and our minds. Becoming more like Him is a daily walk that we will continue to navigate until we are reunited with Him. Here are some resources I have found to be super helpful in my own healing journey! I’d love to pray for & with you while we do the work, friend!

This festive Harvest Setup will be available on Sunday, October 6 AND I will be offering Cow Mini Sessions (previews to come!) on Saturday, October 12. We have a little more than 3 months left in 2024. My dreammmm is to launch a merch shop for The Fruitful Vine by 2025 filled with designs like this one! 🤭🙏🏼🌱

I’ve wanted to make this happen for years but have never really pursued it. I think it’s about time to water this lil mustard seed! What goals do you still have on your list for this year?

I’ve seen this shared everywhere recently but it’s just too good and relevant to not use it as inspiration in this project! ☕️🫶🏼

“You’re holding a cup of coffee and someone accidentally bumps into you, causing it to spill everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

“Because someone bumped into me.”

Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. If there had been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.

So, when life shakes you up, whatever is inside you will come out.

It’s easy to pretend everything’s fine until you’re shaken.

So, we have to ask ourselves, “What’s in my cup?”

When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy? Gratitude? Peace? Humility? Anger? Bitterness? A victim mentality? A tendency to quit?

Remember LIFE gives you the cup; YOU choose what to fill it with.”
