When planning an outdoor event, be sure that your florist and tent decorator work well together!
We had many conversations with on what would be the best design to make the couple's vision come to life.
We made sure to hang the fabric and lighting before the greenery needed to be placed. We made sure that the light stands were strong enough to hold the weight of the greenery. We made sure to arrive the next day to tear it down together.

It turned out even better than we dreamed!

PSA: Hire professional vendors!!!

Let me elaborate: Our couple hired another company to provide linens, design/set up the charcuterie board and serve food from the buffet. Unfortunately, this company caused too many headaches and didn't provide clean linens 24 hours before the reception. The couple decided to fire this company....so, we stepped in!

created the most amazing charcuterie board that received so many compliments! We joked about making this a service that YPD will provide....but we are going to leave this to our favorite catering companies!

Even with all the issues that the other company caused, our couple had an amazing day!

The moral of this story is to hire professional, experienced vendors. Don't hire a vendor because they are cheap, don't hire a vendor without experience, don't hire a vendor without a contract, don't hire a vendor that doesn't have business insurance....just don't do it!

Ask your venue or other vendors for references! Check their reviews! Check their website/social media to see what they have done at past weddings! Compare apples to apples (paying for 1 coordinator vs. paying for 2 coordinators).
