Take a moment to watch the trailer for "In A Different Key." The film follows a mother who tracks down the first person ever diagnosed with autism, now an elderly man in rural Mississippi, to learn if his life story holds promise for her autistic son. Her journey exposes a history framed by race, money and privilege –- but leads to hope that more of us are learning to have the backs of those who are "different."
We are honored to host a FREE community screening of "In A Different Key" at The Capitol on Saturday, April 15th. Doors open at 1 PM. A special thank you goes out to LifeWorks @ WKU, Dennis and Lynn O'Keefe, Ernie and Julie Small, LifeSkills, and Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex for bringing this film to our community.
P.S. Tissues will be provided.
