What is the Value of Experience?

Answer:

Ceremonies are inherently a little more high-stress compared to the rest of the evening purely because everyone (Bride/Groom, Family, Venue, Vendors) wants you to have a beautiful wedding! I like to say that everyone takes a collective sigh when you walk down the aisle.

Adding complex additions and funky ideas to your ceremony can make it more complicated to execute, but in my opinion these are what make your wedding unique!

Example:
Take this amazing Montana Ski Resort wedding located on top of the mountain… This one was so cool, you have to read this!

Ski hill wedding:
+ Logistics to transport some guests to and from the top of the hill on a 4x4 road and some guests on the chairlift
+ Bridal Party processional that is timed to a specific length song
+ Bridal processional on the chairlift accompanied with music from a live violin player and a specific bride’s entrance timing
+ Collaborated between ski patrol, liftie, DJ, & venue w/ radios to control chair speed and spacing
+ A groom that needs to be hidden from seeing his bride until the ceremony
+ And … an impending thunderstorm warning that is due to arrive in 40 minutes!

Grand Entrance” at your wedding is very exciting! It serves not only as one of the first ‘formal’ introductions of the wedding royalty to all guests, but it can also play an essential role in enhancing the vibe of the party and the general atmosphere you intend to create!

Behind the scenes, the coordination and planning involved in executing the Grand Entrance CORRECTLY takes a lot of practice. From planning with the venue, catering, bar staff, photographer, and ‘day-of.’ On top of that, making sure all guests are seated, and the whole bridal party knows when, how, how fast, and where to go during the ‘Entrance.’ This responsibility falls on your DJ/MC and is only a fraction of the pieces we take on to facilitate the perfect wedding!

5/27 - This Big Sky wedding was out-of-control! I threw every banger I had at em and they kept eating em up and wanting more…. 🍬🍻 Suuuch a fun wedding with a great crew! It’s what DJs live for and makes arriving home at 3:30am totally worth it. Congrats to the !!

Catered Rhythms is looking to add professional, fun, and outgoing personalities to our growing team of DJs!

Wedding entertainment is a business of 80% customer service and 20% musical knowledge and mixing. Experience with DJ'ing is great to have .. but is not necessary to be successful! All staff will be carefully trained by DJ-Ryan who has DJ'd over 300 weddings since starting his business in 2008.

Pay DOE: $400 - $600 per event + tips
