Just a final look at the tables and a view into what I do as a Day of Coordinator… This wedding was way more hands on for me than some as often family and friends are involved in the setup. If you decide to rent tablecloths and linens from us, Jubilee and I wash and press them, and then press them again once we have them all out on the tables a day before the event. For this particular event, there were several elements to the table, decor, and both my girls and I spent hours adding the gift bags, a personalized little glass for each guest to take home, a little box of mints and each of the place cards and menus on the charger with a napkin tucked neatly underneath. Then, when the flowers arrived, we set each wreath out on the tables with the glass hurricane, and a candle. During the day of the ceremony I would sneak in to the bridal suite to see how things were going and take a few photos and videos as the day developed. At the end of the evening, while the bridal party and their guests were still enjoying the evening with dancing, we re-packed the items that needed returned from rental companies and packed the couples things to go home. Then we take home the linens to be washed, and I returned Sunday afternoon to load up all of the 15 beautiful centerpieces and deliver them to a local nursing home.

In addition to these very active days right around the ceremony, I meet with the bride, her mother and or the groom several times to discuss vendors, decor, layout of the venue and develop a detailed timeline for the wedding day. I also contact each vendor a total of 3 times to verify their understanding of what is happening or what they’re providing and know when they’ll be arriving for deliveries or to set their part up. Throughout the event I’m the contact between the brides vision and the vendors ex*****on of her dreams. Whitney, the owner of the Chateau is also very present for meetings at the venue and setting up, cleaning the venue and helping with the various activities that need attention during the event. It takes a team and we love being that team along with all the amazing vendors that have worked with us. If you choose us for your event or wedding we will do our best to make your day run smoothly and be as beautiful as possible. And we love how unique each event is!

So thankful for my girls (Jubilee & Hallelujah) help on these busy days when we had 2 cleaning jobs, setting up tables as the coordinator for tomorrow’s wedding at The Chateau Events Center, and leading the rehearsal this afternoon. Tomorrow is the big day for Gia & Zach! And all the planning has come together into a classy reception hall! 💜

Why was I in Arizona over the weekend? I’ll fill you in. This week is free access week for the Portrait System, an online comprehensive school for anyone interested in portrait photography. I was invited to be an audience member for a live broadcast. The Portrait System was designed by Sue Bryce who is a very well-known photographer originally from New Zealand. She takes women’s portraiture to a whole new level, giving women an experience that elevates every day women to supermodel status.
