When we think of our wedding day, we do not think of cloudy skies and rainstorms. But living in Montana, we know that summer weather can be unpredictable. At Golden Hour Events, we believe in being prepared so your day remains beautiful, rain or shine. Here are some ways to ensure your wedding is perfect, no matter the weather:
1. Have a Weather Backup Plan: Consider a stunning indoor space or a cozy tent to keep the celebration going, even if the skies turn gray.
2. Cozy Touches: Think warm blankets and stylish heaters to keep your guests comfortable if the temperature drops.
3. Communicate with Vendors: Make sure all your vendors are aware of the backup plan so that everything transitions smoothly.
4. Embrace the Unexpected: Sometimes a little rain can lead to the most magical photos and memories. Stay flexible and enjoy every moment.
5. Plan for Comfort: Offer umbrellas or ponchos for guests to stay dry, and consider serving warm drinks if the weather takes a chilly turn.
Remember, we can’t control the weather, but we can ensure it doesn’t steal the spotlight on your big day.

You might not know this about me, but I’m incredibly spontaneous. About a month ago, @magnoliablueevents and I were casually chatting when she jokingly suggested a spontaneous trip to Miami. Well, within a week, we had booked our flights and found ourselves basking in the Sunshine State within 4 days! Returning home to winter weather was definitely a bit of a shock after enjoying nothing but sunshine and incredible experiences in Miami. Huge thanks to the @nicoleabecia @marlisfyke and @galialahav flagship store in Miami for hosting us, and to @nuagedesignsinc @kara.at.nuagedesigns for giving us an inside look at your amazing operations. Needless to say, our impromptu trip gave us the much-needed dose of sun and fun we were craving!
Stepped into the role of a modern-day Cupid this week. From sled dog escapades to beautifully crafted floral– we designed a surprise proposal was as epic as their love story. A day filled with magic, laughter, and a pinch of disbelief. Love is an adventure, my friends! ❤️ #engaged2024 #mtweddingplanning
