Jan 31st : One Year of Prairie Dogs!🧡🌭🎉

One year ago, we rolled up to Bunkhouse Brewing in Four Corners for our very first pop-up, not knowing what to expect—just hoping a few folks would give us a shot. We had a simple goal: serve great hot dogs to provide for our families.

Since that night, this little cart has taken us on an unforgettable ride. We’ve catered weddings, popped up at festivals, and parked at some of the best breweries and streets in Montana. We’ve met incredible people, shared a lot of laughs, and learned more than we ever imagined. But the best part? Seeing familiar faces come back, bringing friends and family along to “try the place we were telling you about.” That means everything.

To everyone who has stopped by, invited us to be part of their special moments, or just cheered us on—thank you. Prairie Dogs has become something bigger than we ever dreamed, and it’s all because of you.

Here’s to another year of good food, good people, and good memories. We’re just getting started!

Yes, it’s going to be COLD—but totally worth it!

Prairie Dogs is popping up at Big Sky Skijoring Feb. 7-9 in the Vendor Village! We’re stoked to be serving Root Beer on Tap for the first time ever, pair it with your favorite bratwurst, and you’re set to watch the most thrilling sport in Montana.

Nearing our One-Year Prairie Dogs Anniversary on January 31st 🧡🌭

We still remember starting out, nervously reaching out to suppliers and asking, “Do you have a minimum of 50 dogs?” Fast forward to today, and we’ve served about 10,000 Prairie Dogs from our humble 1970s New York Street Cart.

When we started, we couldn’t have imagined where we’d be a year later. Prairie Dogs has been such a gift to our families.

This holiday season, we introduced our seasonal dog, The Yule. This special creation was inspired by the magic of a Bozeman Christmas—sweet, savory, and memorable, just like all of YOU. Every patron and every event has been part of this incredible journey, and we are so deeply grateful.

Thank you for making this first year so special.

This Veterans Day, we’re bringing our 1970s New York street cart to 406 Brewing in Manhattan at 4:00 PM. From the American Classic Dog to our selection of unforgettable Signature Dogs, we’re serving up big flavors with locally crafted hot dogs. Pair a cold brew with one of our dogs and enjoy your evening.

For the past three days, Lochlan has been running the POS and delivering top-notch Prairie Dogs customer service at our events, including the *Montana Fresh Hop Fest*. It was our second time bringing out our Brat menu to the public, and with Lochlan on the team, everything went off without a hitch!

We were so busy serving up our signature Dogs and brats that we barely got any photos—but we wouldn’t have it any other way. The turnout was incredible, and we're already excited for next year’s Fest!

This season has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s all thanks to YOU. We’re beyond grateful for the support, and we can't wait to see where Prairie Dogs pops up next! 🧡🌭

October is going to be an exciting month for Prairie Dogs! We’ll be serving at Gallatin High School for their Educator Conference on October 17th and 18th. Then, cap off the week with us at Montana Fresh Hop Fest on Saturday, October 19th! We’ll be featuring our signature brats—the Huntsman and the Brewmaster—crafted with Elk and German Brats, locally made at Daniels Meats. We have special buns baked for this event. Come enjoy some great food.

What an incredible day at the most beautiful Fall Market at !🍂 So many wonderful people came out to explore the camp, and the fall energy was in full. Huge shout out to the dedicated vendors and volunteers who poured their hearts into making this event so special. We were honored to serve Prairie Dogs to so many new friends and completely sold out! Can’t wait to be back next year and share even more with you all. 🌭💛

Prairie Dogs has been fortunate to have such amazing help this summer. Once in a while, you may see us out and about in Bozeman with some new faces. We've been able to bring help with us to a few events, and it has been so much fun. I couldn't be happier with the way these college-age students go above and beyond to provide a memorable experience for those who visit the cart. Prairie Dogs is so much more fun when we work with friends.

We just rocked our first Renaissance Faire, and had a blast! 🏰✨

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to Bozeman’s first Renaissance Festival this past weekend at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds! The day was filled with amazing costumes and so many families soaking up the medieval fun.

We had an absolute blast serving up our Prairie Dogs Signature Menu, featuring locally made Bratwurst from , and showing off our brand new recipes for the Brewmaster and Huntsman. Seeing everyone in character, chowing down, and just having a great time made it all worth it.

It was our largest sale to date! 🎉 We couldn’t have done it without the support of this incredible community. Here’s to many more festivals, more fun, and more delicious food!
