In a world where folks pivot quickly from the next best thing to the next best thing, to the next best thing, stick-to-itiveness is a word from days gone by.

That’s why it’s important to celebrate the folks who’ve been there through thin and thick, when times were good, and perhaps not so good. One constant through it all though? The arts.

Join us as we celebrate long-time board member and former Board president and Executive Committee member Rob Pertzborn—the embodiment of volunteerism. After 20 years and many, many roles with Sweet Pea, a Festival of the Arts, Rob is stepping down to focus his attention and energy on cultivating and growing his beloved sweet peas for the annual Sweet Pea Festival Flower Show. Rob, your quick wit and sardonic humor will be sorely missed at our monthly Board meetings.

Does anyone know what Rob is holding in his hand? For his two decades of dedication Rob received the highly coveted Gold Button, granting him a lifetime of free admission to our beloved Festival. Thank you, Rob, for your sacrifice and dedication over the years.

Keep an eye out for Rob. Never one to rest on his laurels, he volunteers for many organizations throughout Bozeman and Gallatin County. And when you see him, be sure to thank him for all he’s done and continues to do.
