A BIG SHOUT OUT TO OUR PUBLIC LANDS!
We know you come here for the flowers, inspiration, and beautiful landscapes, but let’s be honest—you come to Montana for our PUBLIC LANDS.
To visit Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. To see the wildlife. To explore the trails. To experience the wild, unbridled freedom—but you also want it clean, tidy, and safe. And a huge part of that is the stewardship of our public land services!
Around here, it’s clear: we love our public lands. They’re not just part of the landscape—they’re our home, our backyard, and for many, they’re intertwined with our livelihoods.
So, it’s been heavy around here seeing the direct impacts of recent employee cuts in Public Lands.
To put it in perspective:
In Bozeman and surrounding wilderness areas, there are now just three full-time employees in the Yellowstone and Bozeman ranger districts tasked with managing 19 rental cabins, 60 bathrooms, 21 campgrounds, and other infrastructure spread across 1 million acres. This is after the recent national cuts, according to an article in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle yesterday.
That’s just here.
As Theresa Pierno from the National Parks Conservation Association said, “Staffing cuts of this magnitude will have devastating consequences for parks and communities across the country.”
If you’re coming to Montana for a wedding this summer or planning a trip here this year, please be kind to the people working in the parks and caring for our (yours too) public lands. If the bathrooms are less than pristine, now you know why. And maybe pack your own toilet paper—three people keeping 60 bathrooms tidy and stocked is a massive job, especially when that’s not their only responsibility.
A big shout-out to the unsung heroes who work behind the scenes—thank you for everything you do! We appreciate the timber you remove from the trails, the clean bathrooms, and well-maintained campgrounds.

Over here today — we’re celebrating—
We just hit 13K today!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Growing this account, juggling the highs and lows, and keeping up with all the flower magic—it’s a labor of love (and yes, some stress too). If you’re a business owner handling your own Insta, you get it!

To live in Montana you’ve got to be a winter girl with a summer-loving heart. With all the snow piling up lately, it’s wild to be thinking about summer flowers, but hey, we dream ahead, right? Spring is coming, and we’re planning for those warm, sunny days because that’s what this chapter of the business is all about!
Speaking of summer, there’s one bouquet that always makes me think of Montana in full bloom—this one right here. Pure midsummer magic.
And, with Valentine’s Day this week, we’ve got a little something special. We’re bringing in fresh, local tulips from Billings (our first flowers ever from !), and we’re beyond excited to share them with you.
Local, American-grown flowers are my forever love—even in the coldest months. They always call me back.

Back. But not quite back to the studio.
We’ve got some things on the plate this week!
We’re refreshed. Excited to work.
But you know how it is …. You come back from vacation. But still feel a little overwhelmed.
That’s me right now.
So… I’ll be taking it step by step.
On deck:

•check on the studio.
•a mini VDAY photo shoot for a mini VDAY menu (with our fave )
Then… we are ready to fill our 2025.
Next week — we’re hoping to publish our 2nd lookbook — I’m putting the final touches on it this week.
And announce a couple other things! We’ll see how that all goes!

Happy New Year 🍾
We’re so excited to finally get to share that we were voted Bozeman’s Choice Florist in the Bozeman Magazine annual poll for another year… and we couldn’t be more grateful or more proud.
This community continues to inspire us… and we are constantly in awe of the talented designers that we get to flower alongside.
As we enter 2025, our 10th season in business (technically in August— and we’ll certainly be celebrating so stay tuned for that), we’re just forever in love with this town, this community, all of our vendors and getting to create for special moments.

Hey flower lovers,

Sue here (Founder and Creative Director at Wild Blume) 🌸

As we close out 2024 and step into 2025—our 10th year in business—I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU!

For being here, for all the love, the hearts, the follows, the shares... I feel it all. It helps keep this flower journey alive and blooming!

My mom has always said, “Savor the moments.” And as I get older (and start to realize I’m becoming a little more like her), I find myself signing off emails that way. Today, as I reflect on the year that’s been—and look ahead—I feel grounded in it all.

It’s funny how that time clock just keeps ticking faster and faster. I can get lost in my head, or caught up in the hustle, but I’ve learned that it’s so important to come up for air and really be in the moment. To savor the moments. That’s where the magic is. Life happens in the small moments, not just the highlight reels we see on social media or look back on.

I’m rambling a bit, but I just want to say—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every single one of you, whether you’re part of the Wild Blume family or a new friend, means the world to us. We’re sending you all so much love and hoping that 2025 brings moments of peace, belly laughs, and inspiration.

Here’s to a new year! Let’s savor every moment—and, of course, always have flowers.

Winter arrangement part 2 . Tips for you accessories 🎄 .. . Enjoy!

We all love a good chicken wire tutorial 🤍 . . Prophet chicken wire and mechanics can make all the difference in how organic or designed your armament will be. It also has massive effects on transport and set up needs on site for large events. . The better your mechanics the more you can create effortless looks while keeping on site production and fussing to a ‘minimum’. . There is usually some zhuzh-ing that will need to be done— but the more time your spend getting mechanics right the less you have to do day of! . And this can easily be done at home for any arrangements you’re working on there. . Hope this helps. . . cheers! . . Tried to do in one take and not have to edit much— this is what we have today. . 2025 might be the year to step up my game a little more with these ;)

Now that the it’s time for all the winter holidays here are a few simple & easy tips for making your own wreath. . . Host a wreath making party with friends, make your own… it’s easy and fun to do! . * nevermind my extremely homemade videos ;)

Bindwire— the duck tape of floristry. . . We use it for everything but great for wreaths!!! More to come!

Processing hydrangea 🤍 . Hydrangea is a water loving flower and can be finicky as a cut flower so it takes a little extra care during processing. . This video will give you a couple extra steps to get & keep your hydrangea hydrated making them show ready!

Open up that rose with a little twist 🌹 . . Cover photo is ranunculus because it’s cute in the feed & there wasn’t a rose image readily available— perhaps I’ll change it when there’s more time. . Happy Saturday 🤍
