A beautiful day for beautiful Hellebores!

What I love about the Designers Choice selection is that I get creative freedom to play with flowers that come in looking inspiring. I saw these and knew they would look so pretty with light purple, some orange, greens, butter yellow and a few other purple flowers. It's not a regular color palette but when my wholesaler surprises me, I get to surprise you!

This week feels extra special delivering flowers to those who are working or on a stay cation. It seems a lot of people waited until this week to have surgeries since we have been delivering a lot to loved ones in recovery.

🌹 A bouquet filled with symbolism and meaning. 💐 Roses for Romance - We use roses for all occasions, even the different colors have meanings. I think it's safe to say that roses mean love, and we all love so many in different ways!

💐 Alstroemeria for friendship - We use alstromeria in many of our arrangements not only because its takes up some space, comes in so many different colors and is affordable, but it also means friendship.
🌷Peonies for a Happy Life - Well who can argue with that! Every summer when those beauties come out, you can't help but smile and grabbing a bunch can easily make your life happier!

🌼Carnations for Admiration - Now there are carnations and there are... carnations. We use them in our designs but we look for unique colors and textures within the carnation. The traditional red and white that you see in funerals or old fashioned arrangements, bleh. However we source vintage pink, antique mustard yellow, pastel purple moon carns and more. We even make adjustments to carnations to open them and to even make them look like a different type of flower. There is even an entire week dedicated to educating people about these long lasting flowers in June. Perhaps we'll do something fun to celebrate them then.

Friday Musings....

During my morning reading of Super Attractor by , she was talking about affirmations and what we say to ourselves we believe. I've done work with the subconscious mind and totally believe that what we say, we believe, it will happen.

My entire life, like many, I haven't felt good enough at many things; school, sports, work, leadership. It has made me someone who goes over the top to please people (many who don't deserve it) and to act small. I have a vision of something bigger and brighter for my business, my life and the world but so many times I keep small because I don't want to ruffle feathers or believe in myself... so it remains so.

There are times when I'm confident and believe in myself and things happen. My friends joke around with my manifestation power because when I really want something and focus on that, it always happens. Still working on how to manifest a fit body that allows scones and ice cream everyday but who knows what the future holds.

I wonder how much the world is stunted by the millions of others who also play it small. How many missed opportunities do we have in the world because of this?

This year I've been working on getting out of that, setting aside time to dream and work on that dream with action items and most importantly, not making excuses NOT to do those things. Even just sitting down watching videos on how to make better reels or watching and practicing the videos of all the online courses I've purchased to make me a better and more confident designer.

If this is like you, you're not alone. We support your dreams and want to create a better community with confidence and innovative ideas. Future generations deserve a world where we stood up, believed in ourselves, believed we could be better, healthier, stronger, wealthier and happier!

IMPORTANT SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT!!!Since starting TFB in 2019 we've worked with hundreds of weddings, special events, not to mention thousands of birthday and anniversary flowers.

What started in my garage grew into a beautiful space over by Story Mill park and this year we expanded into the space next door to provide a space for small events and workshops.

After weighing our goals/hopes/dreams and what's in alignment with our vision, I've decided to change our business model to a design studio providing flower deliveries and wedding and event florals. Our studio space will be By Appointment Only so that we can focus on spending time with clients, creating fun and inspiring workshops and spreading more kindness through flowers.

That being said, we will be having a sale this month on all our retail items and if you're engaged, we will be selling some of our containers to make room for new inventory so stock up!

We are so excited to move into this next chapter, to deliver more flowers to your loved ones, to create your weddings and special occasions and to experiment in 2024!!!

It's My Birthday!

As I reflect on what happened over the last year, and the year before and so on it got me thinking more about what another year means to each of us.

I've never been a gift person but prefer experiences. I don't want more items gathering dust in my home or taking up valuable space in the garage. I love experiences. Workshops, dinner parties, weekend getaways and more; things that inspire me and leave me feeling open, creative, hopeful and inspired.

It wasn't until recently that I realized this is what I needed more in life. I know I don't speak only for myself when I say it's easy to get isolated into a professional role and only talk about work related things, networking and so in. It gets exhausting. I almost don't know how to talk to people anymore lol.

When I started with the idea of .events.co I originally wanted to work with event rentals. However after some evaluation, I realized it was more about bringing people together doing activities in small groups; celebrating birthdays, bridal showers and time with friends and strangers. Be it a workshop for a group or an open workshop for anyone, I wanted to bring people together in a fun space that wasn't all about networking or who is who.

I would love for you to think about .events.co for your celebrations next year and if you have an idea for something you would like to do or learn or spend time with others, I would love to know how we can celebrate with you!

We are back from some time on the Oregon Coast. I've been coming to the coast for the last few years to rest and recharge. There is just something about the ocean that has always calmed me and given me peace. Walking the beaches, the forests and seeing all the different types of foilage, textures and colors is inspiring and recharges my creativity. I am excited to start the new holiday season with new colors, projects, Events and workshops. here are some dates.

And just like that, we close out the wedding season with a stunning all white elegant party at .

This fall had been our busiest to date and we are so excited to take a little break to slow down, rest and evaluate the next phase here.

We are working on our fall and winter offerings over here, but also some behind the scenes changes on our business model, offerings, and energy.

Since starting this business in my garage in 2018, delivering during my lunch break while marketing manager at a local business and making arrangements when i got home, going full time in 2019 and surviving a global pandemic and growth, we have stretched ourselves a little thin. We want to help as many people as we can but it can't be at the expense of ourselves and our health.

I was listening to a podcast by .co a few weeks ago and Desiree talked about giving yourself permission to change your business, what worked before may not work now. But it's ok to adapt, to change, to reflect back on why you started it in the first place and are you the same person as when you started.

As with the changes of the seasons, we will be making changes to our business that we hope you will feel more connected, centered, appreciated and help us stay grounded and intentional.

We will still be in our space, growing infact, still put emphasis on customer service and spreading kindness throughout Bozeman through flowers.
