To ALL of my working DJ friends:

I have a large collection of Promo-Only CDs that I need to part with. There are many genres in this collection:

- Mainstream Club from 1992-2011
- Underground Club from beginning of format through at least 2010,
- Alternative Club from beginning of format through at least 2010, - Import Club
-Mainstream Radio, Urban Radio, Alternative Radio
- Some UK Club, some assorted Rhythmic Radio and Rhythmic Club

90% of them I have in CD binders, I do have all the sleeves and inserts with track info for them all. They all play, and any that were scratched beyond use or broken for whatever reason have been replaced.

I would like to see them go to a good home, preferably all in 1 lot.

I don't really want to part with them, but since we downsized - I have no room or safe place to keep them without renting storage!

Please let me know if anyone is interested.

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chicago native Chuck Roberts, a pioneer and Icon in the world of House Music. Chuck aka The Voice of House Music is known for his seminal “In The Beginning There Was Jack” speech first heard in 1987 on the track "My House" by Rhythm Controll.

Chuck was more than just a musician; he was a visionary whose words and voice became synonymous with the spirit and essence of Chicago House Music. His profound and inspiring messages have been sampled hundreds of times leaving an indelible mark on the global electronic music scene.

Throughout his illustrious career, Chuck Roberts collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry including Carl Cox, DJ Terry Hunter, Timmy Trumpet, The Prophet just to name a few. Most recently Beyonce utilized his voice’ on the Renaissance Tour. His passion for music, coupled with his unmatched preaching vocals made him a beloved figure in the hearts of many.

His legacy will continue to inspire generations of artists and music lovers for years to come. Chuck passed away peacefully at the age of 66 surrounded by his family in Berwyn, IL on June 6th after a hard-fought bout with cancer.

Funeral Arrangements will be announced at a later time. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with Chuck Roberts' family and friends during this challenging time."
