When I sit down in the evening I doodle on my computer in my embroidery software program and create all kinds of cool designs. Years ago, I started with pen and paper, vellum, chalk and turpentine and hole- punched a traced drawing onto to vellum before I painted the pattern into the fabric to be machine embroidered.
In 25 years so many fantastic changes with computers and technology even enhanced the sewing machine!!
FINALLY

Now I can even make portraits, scenic pics etc and turn them into embroidery. But my favorite works is still creating heirloom “ Tree of Life” projects
Or “ Heirloom Family Roots Wall Hangings”
So my work is work yet can be a hobby!

After a long, crazy busy day, I walk in the house and find a gift box from Ireland. Totally unexpected. What was it ??? a gift from one of my awesome daughters Meghan mark mark ….she surprised me with all kinds of lovely little gifts she ordered from a subscription that came out of Ireland ….that made my day …that made my month.

2nd round of Larry’s back surgery tomorrow. This is the major portion of his surgeries. I know everyone has shared prayers and thoughts, they are powerful!
God hears us… I appreciate the same tomorrow… it’s gonna be a long one tomorrow

I had an amazing birthday, because number one….Larry made it happen and did so much for me! And although my amazing Meghan, Teresa, Liam , and Brad are far away I know you are with me too, because we shared our time as best we could from afar.
Two: awesome friends gathered outside on a very chilly evening to share laughs and great fun together.
Three: To have so many beautiful, wonderful thoughts and wishes sent to me from far and near, I am blessed and know life is good and I am so thankful and happy.

A year ago today, mom left us. I’ve missed her so much. Think of her today, keep her in your prayers, a special mass is said today for her. It really tears you apart losing someone, especially when we were best pals too.
