The Bradenton Blues Festival, weekend returns to Downtown Bradenton, bringing three days of events and acclaimed blues musicians the first Saturday of December. Kicking off the blues weekend is the Friday Concert, 5-9pm; followed by the Bradenton Blues Festival, Saturday, 11am-8pm; and wrapping up the weekend is the Blues Brunch, produced by Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille on Sunday, 11am-2pm.

The Bradenton Blues Festival, presented by BMO Harris Bank weekend returns to downtown Bradenton, bringing three days of events and acclaimed blues musicians, December 4th – 6th, 2020. Kicking off the blues weekend is the Blues “Appetizer” Concert presented by Mojoe Productions, Inc., Friday, December 4th; followed by The Bradenton Blues Festival, Saturday, December 5th; and wrapping up the weekend is the Blues Brunch, produced by Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille Downtown Bradenton, Sunday, December 6th. Musicians of national and international acclaim will take the stage on Saturday, including Billy Branch has been Nominated for 2020 BMAs which include Album of the Year & Traditional Blues Album for Roots and Branches, The Songs of Little Walter, BB King Entertainer, Instrumentalist – Harmonica, & Traditional Blues Male Artist. Lucky Peterson Tribute, Lucky was nominated in the UK for Best Blues Act Award. Mud Morganfield won the Living Blues Album of the Year Award and was nominated for the Best Album and the Traditional Blues Male Artist Album of the 2013 Blues Foundation Blues Music Awards. Selwyn Birchwood won Blues Music Award and Living Blues Critics' Award for Best Debut Album of 2014, and he won the 2015 Blues Blast Rising Star Award. Terrie Odabi is 2020 BMA Nominee for Soul Blues Female Artist. Marquise Knox’s debut album MANCHILD was nominated for a Blues Music Award for Best New Artist Debut. The release also received worldwide acclaim, including Living Blues’ Best Debut Artist Award. The Jimmys won 2018 MAMA Awards for Keyboardist of the Blues Performer of the Year. The “Blues Appetizer” Concert, presented by Mojoe Productions, Inc., is Friday, December 4th, 2020, on the Bradenton Riverwalk, and features Tullie Brae Band & Crystal Shawanda Band. Gates open at 5pm. Tickets are not required for this community concert. Music begins at 6pm and ends at 9pm. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

The Bradenton Blues Festival, presented by BMO Harris Bank, is Saturday, December 6th, 2020, at LECOM Park. Gates open at 10am. Music starts at 11am and ends at 8pm. Festival tickets are available online for $45 for adults; $20 for students; and $10 for children, ages 5–12. Children ages four and under are free. Reserved front-of-stage seats are available for $125 per person. Advanced ticket sales are available online at www.BradentonBluesFestival.org.

The Bradenton Blues Brunch is Sunday, December 6th, hosted by Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille Downtown Bradenton, featuring Damon Fowler & Greg Poulos. Check in begins at 10:30am. A limited number of tickets are available for $55 and include a three-course meal created by award-winning Chef Paul Mattison. Tickets may be purchased online at www.BradentonBluesFestival.org. The Bradenton Blues Brunch is produced by Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille Downtown Bradenton.
