HIGH VOLTAGE!!!
The final concert of the 2022-2023 season from the Bradenton Symphony Orchestra promises to be quite the memorable event! We kick-off the evening with Tchaikovsky’s very own high voltage piece, the “1812 Overture” (Finale), followed by a former SCF Music student’s original composition, “Blues Concerto”. Next the orchestra will play an original movie sound-track, “live” to an original short movie by the SCF Film Program and finish the evening with yet another premiere, an electric guitar concerto.
No worries as you will not need ear plugs and, have no concern about falling asleep in your seat…you will not!

Thursday, February 23, 2023, the Bradenton Symphony Orchestra will present "Transformations", a music journey through 300-plus years of music from the late Renaissance to the early 20th Century. Enjoy beautiful music with intriguing repartee between two SCF, leading music theatre actors, as they guide us through some of the many changes in music that took place over the centuries. Blazing fast fingers on a harpsichord, blasting brass, inches from the front row and pounding rhythms from a dance that will almost set your seat on fire, will greet your ears, your minds and all your senses...this Thursday, Feb 23, 7:30 in the Neel Performing Arts Center!
Looking forward to seeing you there!

The SCF Bradenton Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present our Fall concert, the Magnificent Seven, November 17, 2022, 7:30 PM in the SCF Neel Performing Arts Center. We wanted to share a few excerpts from rehearsals of the beautiful music you will hear.
Beethoven's 7th Symphony is a monumental classic, with both deeply moving melody's and the powerful, fast paced progressions we've learned to love in Beethoven's music, filled with passion and shifting emotions.
The concert will also feature the first movement from Franz Schubert's 8th Symphony (which, by the way, could have been numbered the 7th...more to come on that!) and, music from the movie, The Magnificent Seven. You might even see a little action on the big screen!?
The hurricane, earlier this semester, delayed us but it did not stop us! We are back, now in our Seventh Magnificent Season!
