REMINDER: Wednesday, Jan. 22, and Thursday, Jan. 23, are half-days, and there is no school on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025. On Wednesday and Thursday, students will be dismissed beginning at 12:30 p.m. Regular after-school bus routes will operate at that time. Breakfast and lunch will be served at all school sites before dismissal.

Hello everyone! If you are attending tonight's Lorie Line Concert, please be aware that there is also a Girls Wrestling Quad Event taking place at Brainerd High School, which is connected to the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts. There should be enough parking for everyone, but we just wanted to make sure you knew that there are multiple events taking place in one area and it will be a busy place. If you are attending the Girls Wrestling Quad Event tonight at the Brainerd High School, make sure to go through Main Entrance of the High School. People attending the Lorie Line Concert can enter through the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts doors. We look forward to having you visit our venue for tonight's concert and we hope you have a great time!

We hope you all enjoyed your time with us for World Ballet Company's production of "The Nutcracker"! We had lots of families and fun, so be sure to join us again.

As a little bit of housekeeping, we did have the attached ballerina photos which were not picked up after the show. If you see one that is yours, you may retrieve it from the Brainerd Community Education Office.

The remaining shows are Friday night at 7:00pm, Saturday at 2:00pm & 7:00pm, and Sunday at 2:00pm — all at the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd.

Fun Fact: Alicia recently tried to learn how to play the trombone from her 11-year-old
Why HSO: Alicia had the opportunity to play with HSO in high school and came back as an adult because she realized she missed music and enjoyed playing with HSO.
