JB Sports is an event management company that organizes New England’s top running and fitness events! JB Sports was founded in 1989 by owner, John Bysiewicz.

Bysiewicz, originally from Middletown, CT, earned his B.S. from UCONN and later his M.B.A from William & Mary. Bysiewicz's first gig as Race Director was at the 1989 New Haven Road Race, which is annually the company's largest road race. For 20 years, Bysiewicz partnered with his wife, Jennifer Glass, to organize several of Connecticut's top road races. Within the last decade, JB Sports has grown

to add new employees including John Tolbert, Jody Damsky and Madison Morris. Today, JB Sports coordinates 25 events each year varying from 200-6,000 participants. Since the company's inception, JB Sports has helped raise over $2,000,000 for a number of local charities.

Up and at 'em! @itsamarython here and I'm so excited to give you a sneak peak into my weekend. 🤗 First up: easy miles on the TrueForm at @ranfonetraining. This is a special treadmill with no motor--it uses my own strength to get it going. It's much kinder on the body than the roads and helps develop proper running mechanics. It's a HUGE asset to my training...and RTS is the only gym in town that has them! The love/hate struggle with this machine is real. 😂
