A little cold, and snow, wouldn’t stop this couple from getting married.

A few weeks ago we had a little snow storm and it was very cold. We had to do the rehearsal by FaceTime because no one could not drive to the farm safely. The wedding day the high was 8 degrees. ( That is extremely cold for Branson). However, they both were laughing, smiles and having fun with their guest. It makes our job so easy when the couples are filled with love and joy.

Love never fails. We had a couple who was nearly late to their wedding, but made it in time. The bride and groom seemed to be in fine spirits, and when we asked how they’d been, the groom laughed nervously and looked to his wife, who explains:

As they’re leaving to drive to the chapel, the groom spills his seasonal Peppermint shake from Chick-Fil-A on the bride’s wedding gown! They go back inside to clean it, but the more and more they try — the pinker the dress becomes.

So, they go back into the house and by some immense string of luck, the bride’s mother’s wedding dress is in the house.

And wouldn’t you know? It fits perfectly (and there’s no peppermint shake on it!) Plus, they make it to their own wedding on time.

As we’re getting ready to get started and wrapping up the story, the bride turns to the groom to ask him a question — the last bit of information we need for the story.

“Oh, by the way, do you want to tell them what flavor you have ALWAYS gotten up until today?”

“Well, a vanilla shake.”
