Brattleboro Winter Carnival is looking for participants for the 2025 Chili cook off taking place on Thursday February 20th from 5:30-7:30 at The Marina Restaurant! There is a $30 entry fee and all chili must be prepared in a VT State-approved commercial kitchen! Tell your favorite restaurant to sign up! New night! New rules! Same fun & excitement!
Brattleboro Winter Carnival challenges you to gather friends, family or coworkers and create a team for the 3rd annual Adult Dodgeball Tournament! Teams consist of 6 players, with an additional 6 subs/alternates allowed. Ages 16+.
Balls fly on Tuesday February 18th at 7:00pm at the BUHS gymnasium!

Remember….if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball!

The Brattleboro Winter Carnival committee is looking for performers for the 2025 Winter Carnival Variety Show!
Do you have a hidden talent? Can you sing, dance, play an instrument or tell good jokes? Maybe you can jump rope, lip sync, do magic tricks, hula hoop or do a funny skit? If so, we need you! Do you have a friend or know a group who you think should perform? Share this with them!
All ages and abilities are welcome, from elementary school aged and up, from soloists to group acts!
Variety Show is Friday Feb 21st at 7:00pm at the BUHS Auditorium. Secure your spot by contacting us here in our page or via email at [email protected].

Closing out Carnival week with another great event! The 22nd annual Withington Memorial Cup presented by the Brattleboro Hockey Assiciation! This year the Brattleboro Hawks 10U team will take on the Keene Cobras 10U team for a chance to win the coveted Withington Cup! Dress warmly and come cheer for your favorite team! Game time is 4:10pm! 🏒 🥅

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT FOR DODGEBALL!!! We have 15 teams competing this year, and you won’t want to miss it!

Join us TONIGHT at the BUHS gymnasium for the 2nd Annual BWC Adult Dodgeball Tournament! Doors open for spectators at 5:30pm, entry by donation. Balls fly at 6! Snacks/food and drinks will be available for purchase.

**please note there may be a BUHS Girls Basketball playoff game taking place before us in the Gym, so there is a chance of the tournament starting a little late. However, we encourage teams and spectators to arrive on time so we can start as soon as possible!**

Who doesn’t love Candy Land? 🍭 Stop by Brooks Memorial Library and play!

Take a sweet trip through Candy Land! Kids of all ages are invited to play our life-sized Candy Land game. The fun begins TODAY, Wednesday February 21 and lasts through Saturday February 24. Candy Land will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. (The library opens at 10:00 am.) Bring some friends and experience the magic as our Community Meeting Room is transformed into a colorful, candy-themed world. Based on the classic Candy Land game, players will journey through the Peppermint Stick Forest and Lollipop Woods on their way to Home Sweet Home but be careful- don’t get stuck in the Molasses Swamp or get sent all the way back to the Candy Hearts!

The Junior Olympic Skating Races are today! This is a FREE event for students in grades 1-12, with the following divisions; grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-12 with a boys and girls division in each. Awards to the top 5 finishers in each division and participation ribbons for all! ⛸️
Registration is at 2:00pm sharp with races at 2:30pm.
