I finally have a full day off and i’m somehow caught up with editing so yes, this is my third post for the day!

I couldn’t help but think this bride looked so much like Penelope Cruz the entire time I took her bridal pics!

Anyone else think they could be twins!? Either way I have adored having this stunning girl in front of my camera the past year and getting to shoot Strawberry Manor Event Venue for engagements, bridals and the most perfect wedding ever!

It POUREDDDD down raining the entire day of this bridal session and majority day of the engagements as well but we did have the most perfect weather for the wedding! I mean it was a little hot but all the dreamy light totally made up for all the sweat!

Working on dates for a fun branding / content day at my house!

This is for YOU to get images of yourself to use on your website and social media.

I can’t preach enough that it is so important for any type of business to show your face!

If you are booking or investing money on anything you are more likely to spend money if you know who you are supporting. And it’s very hard to connect with someone if you have no idea what they look like or who they are.

This will also be a fun way to network with other woman owned small businesses (photographers, realtors, hair stylist, florist, influencers, etc).

*You will get a full edited gallery from me with digital and printing rights*

Everyone will be hanging out together and will take turns being in front of my camera to get different looks. We will do a few minutes with different set ups and props of your choice and you will have time to change outfits while I take pictures of others.

I will have a client closet of things to choose from. I will have lots of blazers and outfits that I think will make for the perfect branding content. I will do a video to show everything I have and all sizes, but if you are looking for a certain vibe and size just message me and I can send what I have or see what I can find. So far I have dresses, white and black vest, jackets, cute cardigan to tie around your shoulders or wear, sweaters and around 10 or so blazers.

You can also utilize any of the backgrounds / props and take videos of your self or your own images with your own camera as well. I will have a few tripods around and have a few tripods that can hold a phone as well if you want to create a reel. Also a great way to get some action shots with the other girls hanging out to use as models!

I will have a ton of props and backgrounds set up for different looks.

Just some of my ideas so far include:

-will have a cute bday cake to use for any type of celebration pictures. (Think 5 years in business or a bday coming up, or a launch coming up)

-will have balloons to hold (as of now will have 1, 2, 3, 4, and a 0) to use for ONE year in business, or 10 years or a 30th bday or whatever

-will have some kind of props for fall (something cute to post on Thanksgiving day or a cute picture to use and list what you’re the most thankful for)

-Something for a cute picture to post on Christmas Day or wish your clients a Merry Christmas or to even use to send out Christmas cards to your clients

-some disco balls for some fun pics

-different types of coffee cups / iced lattes to hold and a cute place to set up your laptop for some “work” pictures

-studio type backgrounds ( will have one black and one white background set up, possibly more)

-a picnic type set up

-some type of flowers to hold

-cute pizza set up

-champagne bottle

-if before Halloween will have some fun props for that.

-clawfoot tub outside

-a map and globe as props to use to post for an upcoming trip or bucket list of places you want to go.

I’m sure I will think of more ideas as I have time to sit and plan and lots of the background ideas I have or hard to explain but as everyone knows I can’t do simple so there will so many fun options to get all the content to make posting on social media and showing your face so much easier!

Had so much fun with this fun Sweet 16 Birthday Session!

Wanted to wish this gorgeous girl the happiest birthday before the day is over!

It POURED down rain the day of her session but we still managed to make the best of it and made a quick change of plans and I set everything up in my garage!

Birthday sessions are some of my favorite sessions! Photoshoots to celebrate any and all life’s milestones should totally become more of a thing!

When was the last time you had family photos done?

If it’s been years I would love to know the reason?

I’m curious why people don’t book family pictures? Is it not wanting to spend money? The hassle of putting together outfits or just don’t have time to fit something in an already busy fall schedule?

I was so excited to send out Christmas cards for the first time ever last year and was the person that didn’t book anything and pulled out the tripod the last day of November to get something so I get it. I’m the world’s worst procrastinator and am horrible at booking things ahead of time. Just honestly curious what people’s reasons are and if there is ways I could take that pressure off and get more people to take family pictures that I know they would cherish in the future.

So I've been wanting to plan a fun day at my house for girls to come hang out and get branding photos / updated headshots.
I would have some food and drinks to snack on and have a ton of backgrounds set up for different looks. (you know I can't do simple so there would be background type options and a ton of other props and themed set ups)

I would go around and get headshots and branding content of each person there. It also would be a great way to network and meet other small business owners or woman in different industries and take pictures or videos in front of the backgrounds yourself as well while everyone hangs out. So you would get a full edited gallery by me but have options to also take group photos, or create content yourself as well if that makes sense.

Trying to come up with dates and more details but just curious who out there would be interested in something like this!

This would be great for realtors, hair stylist, make up artist, any type of small business owners, influencers, bakers, photographers, wedding planners, florist or anyone that just wants some new photos, the list could go on and on!

Need help deciding which pictures to use on my website!
It’s been over THREE years since Ive updated my website so finally working on updating it with new work and to be a little more on brand!
I always have such a hard time deciding on pictures that speak to my ideal client.
I feel like depending on the venue and my couple and even just how the days feels I tend to shoot so differently. If you have bright colors at your wedding I’m going to edit in a way that shows off the colors and choices you picked out or if I have a beach weddings it’s going to look totally different than a catholic wedding during fall where I have no sunlight for the bride and groom images. I feel like I can always work with what I’m given and make the most out of any lighting, background or even chaotic rushed timelines. But it also drives me a bit crazy when it comes to posting on social media that none of my work perfectly matches. Which is one of the many reasons I get so behind on posting weddings on social media and over think what images represents my style the most.
Going to be honest when I’m shooting “my style” is the LAST thing on my mind. Out of the 200 weddings I’ve had the honor to photograph not one of them looked or felt the same. I look at what’s in front of me and how the day is unfolding and I document it the best and most natural way I can.
