The Band participated in The Lonestar Music Classic Festival on Friday. We were judged by some awesome music educators and received a 1st division (Superior) rating. After the performance the band spent the day at Six Flags. It was a great day for the Breckenridge Band. Way to go kids!

Truly happy with the BHS and the BJHS Bands! Yesterday and today the bands performed their best at UIL Contest and Sight reading. They earned an Excellent performance on stage and a Superior performance in sight reading. Several fellow band directors complimented on the improvement and skills gained by the Breckenridge Band Program. People also complimented their behavior and maturity during an emergency drill (HS sight reading), bus trouble (JH lunchtime), and at the restaurant. Way to go Students!!

The BHS Band will perform today at 2:15 at Stephenville High School for our UIL Concert and Sight reading. Wish us luck and/or pray for safety and great focus.

The BHS Band and the BJHS Symphonic Band earned 1st Division Ratings in the Cisco Music (Pre-UIL) Festival yesterday and today. The students did a great job in representing Breckenridge. In both bands we made 1, 2+, 2, and 1 in sight-reading. They knocked the sight-reading out of the park. Congrats to the students! Now we look to make some last minute tweeks based on the judges' comments so that we can go to UIL next week and get 1's!

Congratulations to the BHS Winter guard. Last night they participated in a North Texas Colorguard Association Invitational for the first time since 2020. They performed well and earned a 3rd place award. Way to go!
