Hello Everyone,

It's sunny out here in Brentwood today and hope you all are having a nice day. I would like to share an interesting story with you all today 😃

Before partition of India/Pakistan and Bangladesh, Bengal was one state. My father-in-law's aunt (Pishi) lived in a small village called as Mina Bari Gram (Village).

People of that village were known for their exquisite cuisines and had a very unique recipe for making Mutton.

Whenever my Father-in-law (He used to live in Pabna District) visited his aunt, he ate that Mutton dish for sure 😃

Post partition of united India, some people (My father-in-law's family was one of them) from pre-partition Bengal, moved to India side of Bengal (West-Bengal) and rest of them lived there, throughout their life. His aunt chose to stay back in Mina Bari Gram ❤

That Mutton recipe stayed back with those people and somewhere got lost as people moved to cities over next few generations.

The good part was that, my father-in-law's aunt passed on (Verbally) the recipe to his mother, who in-turn passed (still tribal knowledge) on the recipe to my mother-in-law. My mom-in-law was kind enough to share it with me and I documented it ❤.

Today I have made that recipe for a custom order 😃
