The truth about being a magician? It's not just about pulling off cool tricks or getting applause.
Behind the scenes, it's a wild mix of joy, hustle, nerves, and more late-night card shuffles than I can count.
Being a performer means constantly learning, refining, and reaching for something just out of reach, the perfect illusion, the perfect reaction.
It’s equal parts sweat and sparkle. And while I love what I do, I’ll be honest: it’s not always easy.
Like any artist, I wrestle with doubts. Did they really enjoy that set? Could that moment have landed better? Is this still magical for them?
But here's the part I always come back to, even in the moments when I'm questioning everything, someone out there does still believe in the magic.
Sometimes it’s a smile in the crowd, a gasp during a routine, or a kind message after a show. That’s what keeps the fire lit.
I’m writing this not out of gloom, but out of gratitude and curiosity: if you’ve ever caught one of my shows, seen a video, or even witnessed a quick trick, drop a little love in the comments.
Let me know your favorite moment or just say hi. Your words matter more than you know, especially on the days I need a reminder of why I fell in love with this craft in the first place.
Thanks for believing in the magic.
