BTS 2023...Looking into 2024 after reflecting on 2023 has our minds set on the goal of continuing to work with amazing couples in beautiful places on their big day.

The goal for Savant Garde Events has always been and will continue to be turning your wedding dreams into a reality. Just like the wedding trends that are always changing, our business is always expanding and growing to be better for our clients.
This year, our hope is to set healthy boundaries while still providing excellent services. Setting boundaries with clients isn't the easiest topic to navigate, and is a concept we are leaning into in order to adapt and change our business for the better.

That being said, our question is for our fellow vendors we work alongside with in the wedding industry - what boundaries do you set with clients and how does this set both vendor and client up for success? We are eager to hear and learn from you.

As we get closer to Thanksgiving, I’ve been feeling so grateful for a slower pace for a change and time to reconnect with family and friends.

This isn’t something I always take the time to stop and think about—but it’s truly such a blessing to be able to work in a community that is so tightly knit and some many connections are made. The industry is incredibly vast and we are so grateful for every couple and vendor we have come across over the years. Talk about a blessing.

As planners we've seen the good, the bad, and the not so pretty that can happen on wedding day. So here's just our small list of mistakes not to make on your wedding day:
- Forgetting to eat
- Not taking a few moments before the ceremony to take a moment to relax
- Sweating the small things
- Overfilling your day
- Not taking a moment with your S.O. to soak in the fact you are married

Let's face it, when the day is here these are the kinds of things that can just unintentionally happen, but a part of our job as your day of coordinator is to help you avoid these kind of mistakes so your day can go smooth and exactly as you hoped.

"𝘼 𝙗𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙤𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙘𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙨.”

I first heard this from a business podcast years ago and it has carried me through some real challenges in my personal life and professional life since then— often times things may not go our way or as we planned and can feel chaotic but allowing for creativity in your solution can turn things around.

I love this advice because it offers a bit of encouragement that even when things feel messy there can be the good of creativity in whatever form imaginable that comes from it.
