The Brevard Music Center is proud to host the Jazz Institute @ Brevard. Led by renowned jazz trombonist Michael Dease, Brevard's jazz program provides a 10-day, immersive jazz experience focusing on fundamental musical and technical elements, while exploring topics ranging from practice discipline to the process and procedures of jazz recording. Our faculty includes some of the busiest working pro

fessionals in the industry – all of whom are excited about sharing their expertise with an enthusiastic student body. The program enrolls students ages 14-29 who will participate in big band and combo classes and performances, private lessons, and mentoring sessions with world renowned faculty and guest artists.
