The cutest holiday party for the nursery/toddler class of East woods school. We had a visit from the grinch, games, a holiday dance party, charcuterie from Made By Merry, cakes by PieCaken Bakeshop, Charmcitycakes, Crumbs Bake Shop & Flour Shop, a hot cocoa truck and Christmas cocktails for parents, and finally a special visit from Santa who passed out a gift to every child. oh what fun and a magical day it was.

Fall table with Kathy Kuo Home we wanted to use deep, rich colors and a mixture of colored glassware and elements like the velvet pumpkins and mixed metals of gold and silver throughout the table. Shot in the greenhouse setting of Scarsella’s flower farm.

Grilled peach and burrata salad. One of our favorite local recipes for this holiday weekend. Super easy to whip together a and sure to be a hit! Make sure to stop by your favorite local farm stand or farmers market for the ingredients!

4 Ripe Peaches (grilled)
8 Cups Fresh Arugula, Washed & Dried
4 Medium Sized Balls of Burrata or Fresh Mozzarella
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Aged Balsamic Vinegar
Sea Salt
Cracked Black Pepper

We picked colorful table settings and florals to go with the beautiful bourbon bottle designs from for their Brunch last Sunday. Late summer color inspo palette, set on the water in their private events space at for 20 guests..

Summer Friday cocktail of the week:

Bourbon Pineapple smash

2 cubes of pineapple
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 sprig fresh mint leaves
2 oz of Great jones bourbon
2 dash Angostura bitters
1/2 oz simple syrup optional

In a cocktail shaker, muddle pineapple and lemon juice until fully juiced.
Add mint, bourbon, bitters, simple syrup to shaker.
Fill 1/2 way with ice. Cover and shake for 30 seconds to chill and incorporate the drink.
Double strain into a rocks glass over a large, fresh ice cube. Garnish with a pineapple wheel and fresh mint sprig.
