What a journey it’s been! From the first time you donned your cheer uniform to tonight, you've amazed us all with your dedication, spirit, and unwavering energy. Eight years of cheering, growing, and shining—what a legacy you’ve created! Watching you at your last game, I couldn't help but feel so proud of everything you’ve accomplished. You've given it your all, not just as a cheerleader, but as a role model, inspiring those around you with your kindness and determination.

Now that we have delivered Jacee’s coach’s gift of a super sweet photo book, I can share these fun photos our girls did. These were a BLAST and it was so hard to keep this a secret!

I’ll try not to get too sappy, but these girls just have my heart. As we start experiencing all the “lasts” for Lily’s senior year it’s hitting me hard. Lily and her best friend Leah have been in cheer together for 8 years, but friends since pre k. I literally have Leah’s contact in my phone as “my favorite daughter”. 🤣 I did fine for senior night until she hugged me, then I ugly cried. Thanks for that. 🙄 I’m not sure how it’s possible that we are watching these girls cheer at their last home game tonight, it’s so surreal. Any cheer parent can tell you that their entire families lives revolve around cheer and these girls have worked their butts off yeah round. I’m so proud of how far they have come.

Then there’s their coach. Jacee has moved up every year with these girls and we couldn’t be more thankful for her being a fierce Mama Bear to all these girls. Thank you for the past 8 years of memories. 💙

I’m really disgusted that I have to make this type of post, but I feel very strongly about this topic and it’s why we have chosen for our children to not have social media until they were much older. Today I had the below comment left on a photo, I don’t want to share the photo for privacy reasons, but it was a full body side profile of a fully clothed 6 month old. It instantly made my stomach drop. At first I debated whether it was just an older individual who may sometimes say things that can be perceived as being unintentionally inappropriate. I looked at the people they were following and it was a lot of teenaged girls I know and only one scammy looking profile was following them back. Their profile photo was also of them snuggling a young girl. I messaged a couple of the girls I saw they were following and no one knew who this person was, but also found the comment creepy. I just went back and tried to block and report this person from seeing my page and guess what, their profile is already gone. I cannot and do not want to imagine what disgusting things had to have been said and reported for their profile to disappear so quickly.

I am sharing this because I want to bring awareness to just how easily these disgusting people can get access to children and to urge you to talk to your own children. At least require them to make their profiles private and don’t friend anyone they don’t personally know because you never know who is following their page and seeing their photos. If you have noticed or wondered over the past year, this is 100% the reason I have stopped taking photos of newborns without any clothes on. The world we live in is just sick and we need to protect our children (and other people’s children) to the best of our abilities and at all costs. ❤️
