nger/songwriter and specialist at Classic Rock. She will assist you in your songs if requested. We honor and encourage having new performers who would like to feel comfortable, supported and heard in our roster. We have all been there feeling shy & excited to share so do feel warm & welcomed! We have a nice PA SYSTEM, your choice, unplugged or plugged. Any genre! We are excluding live drums & electric guitars since this is a 'listening room'. We hope to encourage an audience who likes to listen and applaud the performers. The OPEN MIC is open to all stringed instruments; guitar, acoustic bass, violin/fiddle, banjo, cello, mandolins, cigar box guitars, anything acoustically unique. Singers, beat box/poetry, a ca****la, wind instruments; harmonica, saxophone, trumpet, flute. Let's not forget keyboards, piano.
* Children can also perform, in the first hour 6pm of the open mic. Let's keep profanity to a zero, for the respect of the audience and parents. It's a listening room for all of us. We appreciate every talent, from all walks of life and all genres. We listen with appreciation, share the music. Collaboration is welcomed. Would love to hear a gathering of people just enjoying music and creation in the moment. There will be a sign up; name, instrument and genre. If you want accompaniment, you can include this on your sign-up. We welcome originals as well. The time slot will be 5 to 15 minutes each. So, everyone will have a chance. The ending set will be a huge collaboration of all players who want to be involved. You'll feel warm, appreciated and respected in our community circle!
