This sweet Christmas babe is 8lbs of pure chunk perfection!
I could have snuggled him the rest of the day and been so content!
I remember When Beau was born…I was so excited to be a mom! I had waited so long. But then he cried.
😵💫A lot.
At first, I was overwhelmed, not understanding what he needed or how to soothe him. I was away from family. And Every painful late-night feeding and endless rocking felt like I was failing, even though I knew I was doing my best. But as the days went on, something shifted. I learned that motherhood isn’t about having all the answers right away—it’s about showing up, even when it’s hard, and trusting that you’re doing enough.
Beau taught me patience, compassion, and that sometimes love means just being there, even in the silence after the tears. Eventually, the crying slowed, and in its place, I found the quiet moments of joy I had been searching for. What I learned through Beau’s cries was that the toughest times often bring the most growth, and the love you have for your child is far bigger than any challenge.
Motherhood is so sacred to me. It’s taught me so much. And everytime I get to take newborn pictures I’m reminded of all the growth that’s happened to me over the last 3.5 years. 🩶
