He was a musical genius, producer, and visionary, Quincy shaped the soundtracks of generations, from his work with icons like Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra to his own groundbreaking jazz and pop albums.

His influence spanned genres, bringing jazz, pop, soul, and film scoring to new heights. Beyond his remarkable career, Quincy was a mentor, cultural ambassador, and advocate for unity through music. His legacy will resonate forever, reminding us of the power of creativity, resilience, and a boundless passion for life and art.

It was ANOTHER amazing Motor City HDJ weekend! Congratulations to Kali + Nate and Sami + Andie! I had a blast playing two venues that were new to me and celebrating the love of these two amazing couples. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!

Motor City, this past weekend Hurricane Helene ripped through Ashville, North Carolina and the surrounding areas. One of those areas is Hendersonville, home to Camp Ton-A-Wandah. It's the amazing camp where I DJed Lauren and Jon's wedding last year.

As they begin to pick up the pieces and assess the damage, keep your eyes and ears peeled for ways we can help support this beautiful community of people. I'll do my best to keep you posted as I find out more.

Well, this was not a “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head” kind of storm. HELENE was a full-blown AC/DC “Thunderstruck” event that lasted for over 72 hours. We, like so many in our surrounding WNC community and others impacted by this historic storm, will be assessing the full scope of damage and putting the pieces back together for some time. We have sent emails to our currently enrolled families, our GUGG friends, and all TAW alumni in our current database. Please feel free to share what we have sent to those we may not have been able to reach. Thank you to everyone who is holding us in their TAW heart; we love you, and we will share updates and how you may help as we are able.

This past Saturday, I experienced something that’s only happened to me a handful of times over these last 25 years.

Looking at this picture from left to right, that’s Samantha and Mark. I DJed their wedding last October.

Next, there’s Meredith and Geoff. I’m playing their wedding next October.

Then, there’s Heather and Dustin. We celebrated them as our bride and groom on Saturday. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!

Finally, Gabby and Dylan are on the other end and I played their wedding last September.

THIS is why I do this. It was incredibly humbling and beautiful to be among people that trust me and Motor City HDJ to respect their vision and find value in the excellence I try to deliver.

Brighton is a community founded on love and inclusion. While it's certainly okay to publicly and peacefully protest, it is NOT OKAY to intimidate members of our peaceful community. I hope we never hear about this happening again. To my friends on Main Street, I stand with you in keeping Brighton, Michigan a place that loves everyone no matter what they believe, who they love, or how they think.

To all the fathers out there, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY from me and Motor City HDJ. I’m excited to spend another special day with the girl that made me a dad in the first place.

It’s another beautiful day with my new friends at FlexWork Sports Management at the Blake Corum camp. Breanna was excited to tell Blake congratulations on winning the championship. 😍

What a great start to Father’s Day weekend! I get to spend most of the weekend with Breanna, the girl that made me a dad in the first place.

I made some new friends at FlexWork Sports Management and Motor City HDJ will bring the energy to five youth camps in metro-Detroit this summer.

We spent today with Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs. Tomorrow, we’ll be hanging with newly drafted LA Rams RB Blake Corum.

What a great weekend so far! Last night was the Hilton Elementary PTO & Families 90s neon dance party. What a great time with Breanna and all her friends. Thanks for having me, Hound Dogs!

And today, I’m helping Hannah and Ken start their life as a married couple. It’s going to be a great party! Congratulations, you two!
