On a little more of a personal note….This is also an introduction to my new look 😊

In the very beginning of 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive lobular breast cancer. I had over 45 weddings booked and was TERRIFIED to go through and carry on my booked clients while fighting cancer. However I was determined to beat cancer and never once it crossed my mind I wouldn’t come out of this so I knew I needed to keep going with life .

My first wedding was 3 days after my double mastectomy. I did all the prep- work and let my amazing industry friends take over the design work for me. It went off without a glitch !

I went through 16 rounds of chemotherapy (June-September) during the busiest of my season. I would go to chemo in the mornings and process flowers in the afternoons, take a few days to rest and then design the wedding flowers . Couldn’t have done so without my assistant and freelancers who helped me with everything.

Then I underwent 5 weeks of radiation and finished off the 2023 wedding season 🎉
Through out this entire year flowers gave me so much power , when I was working I was not thinking about my treatment or have any worries . I felt as normal as I could be . When I was stressed all it took for me to feel better was to get lost in designing a bridal bouquet - my hands knew what they were doing and my head just followed the that direction.

I am now a breast cancer survivor🩷 it truly drives me to be the best version of myself ever . Because when you have been through the most you also gotta do the most !
So I am ready for this new season of life and ready to take on 2024 wedding season with even more passion in my heart .
