So much rides on a first look. Here are a few things I do to make these first looks successful.
✨Time out hair and makeup team to be finished on time for the scheduled first look. This is difficult if they have 8 bridesmaids to complete before the bride.
✨ Make sure I know the location of the bride and all other parties at all times. We don't want a staged photo. We want a geniune reaction to be captured. This can't happen if people see the bride beforehand.
✨Work with the photographer on the schedule of photos and make sure they have the necessary lighting for the shot.
✨Always have tissues on hand.

Planning meetings are my jam and I love to have family there! Lots of perspectives are good, as long as those perspectives are loving and supportive 😉
My main purpose as a coordinator is to make sure all communication channels are open. All the to-do lists and schedules have to sync up with every vendor. That makes a happy bride and groom, which is what we all want right!
