Another phenomenal bridal show at the Chase Center, and we’re all here for it. We were excited to meet so many brides-to-be and dedicate all our time and energy for those few hours to ensure their voices were heard.

Wedding Season is quickly approaching, and weekends are booking up. Rod Bell DJ Services prides itself on customer connection and relationships. We understand it is mostly everyone’s first time planning a wedding, and it can be extremely overwhelming. We get to know our clients on a personal level, and then meet their needs, all while taking the stress off their shoulders. We really had an amazing time taking pictures with all the potential clients with both our digital & DSLR Photo Booths. The boomerang feature from our Rod Bell DJ Services' DSLR photo booth was a hit! We were able to debut this neat feature at the Morris Nichols' Law Firm holiday party. The professionals at this party came with their significant others to celebrate with good music, good wine, and absolutely great food; the perfect combination for an amazing time. They got to show their creative side with our variety of props and strike different poses that would look good flipping back and forth with the boomerang. Our photo booth attendants are engaging, skilled, and trained to make sure everything goes flawlessly from beginning to end. First! Everybody knows a dad whose little girl has him wrapped around her finger. And that’s the way it’s supposed to be! The father-daughter bond is like no other. We had the pleasure of celebrating this special bond by providing music for the Our Lady of Good Counsel Father-Daughter Dance. It was emotional to see all the dads having 1 on 1 time with their little girls and soaking up this precious moment. This moment that can never be replaced. It is a memory that will last a lifetime. We are so honored to be a part of this special time.

Second! It was the kids’ first Communion Party, and we played a lot of games to celebrate. The mummy wrap was a lot of fun as well as the limbo and the hula hoops.

Let us introduce you to the amazing organization called CareLink. CareLink provides the support that people with serious mental illness, physical disabilities, and other developmental challenges need to be active, productive members of their communities. This includes caring support, housing, assistance with jobs, and other practical help that may be necessary. These people play such an important role in these individuals' lives and should be commended for it.

When we were contacted to play music and provide a photobooth for their holiday party, how could we say no? We were honored to work alongside and provide services for these wonderful leaders. It put a lot of joy in our hearts seeing everyone enjoying themselves. We even had a Michael Jackson in the house, and his performance was stunning! Once again, the Family Therapy & Consultation Services' event booked with us was nothing short of a success. These amazing people work hard year-round to foster healthier communication and conflict-solving skills within families to help strengthen bonds. It was an honor to receive that call again from them asking us to come back and facilitate their event. Of course we said yes, and it was beautiful being able to see everyone happy and enjoying themselves the entire time.

This company holiday party was also inspiring. We got to witness an intern who had been with the company for 12 years being promoted to CEO. What an accomplishment! Congratulations Akilah DeBeau! Another successful wedding celebration, this time we're talking about Nicole and Thomas. There is something unique about this beautiful couple. They were so kind and loving. The very first song the bride asked me to play after their first dance to bring everyone together was "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge and the dance floor lit up. It was beautiful to see how one song can bring so much joy between the two families. Part of becoming married is not just unifying two people, but uniting two families, and that's exactly what happened here. They all danced together and had the time of their lives.

This wedding took place on the 25th floor of the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia. The view from up there was amazing. The setup was pleasant, and the staff was very welcoming. The room itself held about 80-100 people perfectly, giving the atmosphere a warm feeling. Overall, it was an amazing wedding and we can't thank Nicole and Thomas enough for choosing yours truly, Rod Bell DJ Services.

The Halloween festivities over at Brookhaven was a blast. The police department, fire department, and retail stores such as LOWE'S were on site and participated in making trunks for Trunk or Treat. It was a day full of fun, laughter, good music, as well as some tasty hot dogs and cheeseburgers. Everyone had their costumes on and was ready for the fun. We want to thank the entire Brookhaven committee and everyone else who participated in making this day happen.

What is it like to party with over 200 5th and 6th graders in the mix of Halloween? We were hired to help celebrate MaST Community Charter School III's Glow In The Dark Halloween Party and the kids absolutely enjoyed themselves. They were singing through every song and boy oh boy were they prepared to have fun! Some were wearing their costumes and some didn't, but regardless they all enjoyed the dance floor. It's spooky season! It's that time of the year to do the annual Trunk or Treat with Anne Frank Elementary School. This year we had over 600 students attend to dance and trick or treat. Close to 1000 including the parents. We had a lot of fun, it was great seeing all the creative costumes, and of course, can't forget the candy! To all the parents who brought their kids and participated in decorating their trunks, thank you for your efforts. Congrats to the first, second, and third-place winners for Best Decorated Trunks.
