*TBT* Old Sanctuary is an ideal place for a wedding! In fact, weddings have been held in this facility for more than 100 years. When this building was the former St. Thomas More Catholic church, it hosted the first marriage at this location in August of 1904. If someone you know is looking for a venue with character, please check us out!

- Before St. Thomas More Catholic Church became the Old Sanctuary in 2003, it was first the St. Thomas Catholic Church of Brookings located on the corner of Medary Avenue and Fourth Street. When the congregation started running out of room in their 1906 building (pictured on the left), they chose to rebuild their new home at the same location (pictured on the right). Our present building of brick and tile construction is now over 70 years old!
