In Minnesota, we spend so much time training indoors while warmer weather areas get to play more games over a longer period of time. This can leave players with less experience on the field as they get older. If you are thinking about baseball more seriously, fall ball is a great way to continue getting that on field experience and making the most of the time we can spend outside here. Fall is great for development for a couple of reasons. 1. You get to play more baseball, in Minnesota we don’t get to be outside all year and the best experience is game experience. 2. You get to play at the level you’ll be playing in your next main season (summer travel, hs, etc.). New field sizes can be a big adjustment, and the best way to make the adjustment is by playing! Why Pine Tar Academy? We put development first. We don’t play younger kids at the same positions every game, and we do our best to get everyone the same number of game reps.
