At Sweet Occasions, our allergy friendly cookies are made without ❌

While we are not an allergy-free kitchen, we do deep clean and sanitize all equipment and utensils prior to beginning our allergy friendly orders.

We also take care to prepare and decorate our allergy friendly orders on separate days from our cookies that do contain common food allergens.

A word on red dye #3

First of all…

😮‍💨 Let’s take a collective breath; depending on how this impacts you, this change is new/exciting/scary/complicating/expensive 🤪

As a huge proponent of integrity and following the rules, Sweet Occasions has every intention of complying with the elimination of Red Dye #3 🛑

While elimination is not required until 2027, we’ll be working to source a suitable alternative to our colors and dyes as soon as possible while maintaining our standards of elite level color matching that our clients have come to expect 🤍

🤫 most of our suppliers have been looking for alternatives for years now so this isn’t a surprise to us

❌ If food dyes are something you choose to reduce or avoid altogether, we still have options!

• Color-free cookies in a monochromatic design: a very cutesy, very demure (I missed the trend so give me this one) way to skip over dyes and coloring confusion altogether

• Dye-free food coloring: a typically plant based alternative, but color lines are not quite as extensive (yet) and may alter product flavor. These products are also significantly more expensive so kindly anticipate an upgrade fee for use of these products

• Printed cookies: Did you know the amount of ink used on a typical cookie contains dyes in such small quantities they are measured in parts per TRILLION? So if you’re treating these cookies as treats, it’s still cutting your dye exposure exponentially

✨ No matter which option you choose ✨ Sweet Occasions Cookie Co is always happy to create treats you can comfortably and safely enjoy 🤍

🖤 Sending a huge “Thank you” to this morning for so generously hosting us for a Pop Up at their coffee shop in Katy on Saturday.

You’ll love them for the expertly pulled espresso ☕️ and delicious food 🍽️ but keep coming back for the contagious hospitality and love for their community

- plain hot latte (always my litmus test good coffee)
- tiramisu latte (an iced coffee lovers dream, esp if you prefer a less sweet coffee option)
