What a way to close the night!! Special guest appearance by Gene Simmons (Gary Parr) rockin' out to an outstanding show of fireworks. This was without a doubt one of coolest endings to Parr Fest throughout all our event years!

This year we had the pleasure of welcoming TX Special to the Parr Fest stage! Texas Special is an American Blues Rock Band born in Texas, and let us tell you... they did not disappoint! Way to rock guys!

AND THIS YEARS HEADLINER...... ASH!

ASH was formed in 1972 by David Baker, Mike Dodson, and Gary Parr, who all went to the same high school in Houston. The band name was chosen back in 1972 from the band Wishbone Ash, dropping the Wishbone to become Ash. They mostly played local parties and a few clubs in the area, until disbanding around 1976. Although staying in touch, but not playing together, they got back together at the very 1st Parr Fest in 2012, doing an acoustic set.

Now, 10 years later, ASH was back on the Parr Fest stage as our 2023 headliner!

This year we had the pleasure of having HART & SONNIER perform. HART & SONNIER includes band member Frank Hart, who has been a frequent performer at Parr Fest! You guys rock!

It just wouldn't be Parr Fest without.... The Reverb Cartel! These guys are incredible performers and we love having them on the Parr Fest stage year after year.

Each year Parr Fest selects an organization to support with proceeds of the event. This year, Parr Fest raised money for the PTSD Foundation of America and Camp Hope. A portion of entry tickets and 100% of raffle drawing proceeds are donated to Camp Hope to further their mission of bringing hope and healing to Combat Veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat-related Post Traumatic Stress.

As an interim housing facility, Camp Hope provides veterans a safe space to experience healing from trauma and post-traumatic stress. The intensive residential program at Camp Hope aims to provide a more comprehensive peer support and mentoring based healing for those who need more than our Warrior Groups can provide.

Thank you Outlaw Dave [Outlaw Dave Show] for your part in making Parr Fest 2023 successful! Outlaw Dave has been a part of Parr Fest for many years as our host and MC.

This year Outlaw Dave was also our auctioneer for our LIVE auction during intermission. His auctioneer skills brought in an amazing amount of money to support PTSD Foundation of America and their mission of bringing hope and healing to Combat Veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat-related Post Traumatic Stress.

A lot goes into making Parr Fest a great event. Our crews spends month preparing to make sure a night of music goes smoothly. Thank you to all of our crews who work tirelessly before the event, during the event and after the event to make Parr Fest such a success! We couldn't do it without you.
