Wedding and Event Venue Listed on the National Historic Register, The Victorian was built in 1911 and is to date the largest Victorian House in Acadiana.

Though the property is not an actual Plantation, the variety of unique areas add a sense of scale and depth reminiscent of one. The home was built by Paul Billeaud, who had the largest Sugar Cane Mill in Louisiana at the time.Restored in 1994 and renovated in 2012, the property is now designed to function as the most beautiful and accommodating wedding and event venue in the area.For groups from a

n intimate 25 guest to nearly 800, the property has a dynamic set of venue spaces that can work together as one cohesive event, or independently as intimate areas.

We have regretfully closed the Victorian. Covid restrictions were too difficult to try and operate for a year with no revenue. A lovely family has purchased the property and is renovating it to make it their home.

Well the day has come to say goodbye to The Victorian Plantation. As many of you may already know, we sold the property as a private residence. We officially hand over the keys on June 16.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the brides, grooms, families, friends, event planners , vendors, Broussard Police Department and the City of Broussard for all your trust and help in bringing so many dreams to fruition.
