Who we are!
We are a mommy/daughter duo that comes from a lineage of bakers, caterers, and decorators, that decided to mesh our passions of producing delicious desserts and planning parties, to create a business that allows us to work closely together as we continue to build our family legacy!
Kierra (KiKi) has had a love of baking since the tender age of 3 years old- she LOVES sweets, and has always been inquisitive about the science behind baking. She became serious about her baking journey while studying Nursing at Tennessee State University. She asked me one day, what she could do to make some extra money to support her extra curriculum activities- I said well, what is it that you “like” to do- something that won’t really seem much like work? She said I like to bake...my answer was, there you have it- make some cakes, cut them in slices and sell them to the students on campus, and she did just that.
I (Glenda), have had a HUGE passion for creating and decorating since being a little girl. My mama (RIP to my angel), was FLAWLESS when it came to style and decor. Every room in the house had it’s own identity- everything was always neat and very well put together. I love the sensation of looking at an empty space and being able to tap into my creative juices and form a masterpiece. I LOVE TO CREATE, and I love the joy it brings to the faces of everyone that walks in the room- it makes me feel complete. My life’s purpose is to inspire and motivate others, and having a passion that meets my purpose, makes life all the more enjoyable for me.
See, this isn’t something we just woke up and decided to do one day- WE WERE MADE FOR THIS! We stand behind our brand, and what we can produce. We love what we do, and how we do it. We don’t get discouraged in knowing how many others are doing the same things, because we know “what God has for us, is already ours”. Our talents and visions are ours alone, and it can never be duplicated.
