A new wedding venue that offers a personal experience for those who appreciate the simple beauty of natural aspects: a year-round flowing creek, quaint fresh water pond, and natural archways of vines and ancient oaks, all nestled in a park like setting.

A post we never thought we would have to make:

Unfortunately, due to unforseen guidelines and codes going forward in our county in 2022, we have now been restricted in a way that moving forward, renders us inoperable to run as a business.

As of now, we want to make it publicly known that Laken Oaks is officially closing our venue for any and all events.

Anyone effected by this change has already been notified.

We will not take any questions or messages at this time, as our future journey prevents us from doing so.

A little bit of a different perspective for this wonderful Monday afternoon:

➡️From the DJ's point of view, looking out towards the reception area (foreground), and ceremony areas with creek in the background.

One of the questions that tend to pop up the most is: How many tables fit in the reception area?

Answer: In the space up to the meandering pathway (not past it/along the creek) we've had 31 tables, all with ample room in between the tables and a "cushion" of space around the dance floor and bar areas.

Not to be out done, our Oak Knoll area is a "tucked away" gem that makes any aspect of your day feel intimate regardless of its ability to hold our maximum guest capacity with a good chunk of room to spare.

Also surrounded by water features, the ever prevalent Little Dry Creek provides a beautiful cascading water acoustic while the out flow from our pond meanders its way through natural rock outcrops and presents itself in a creek like manner, essentially surrounding Oak Knoll by TWO creeks.

Mostly used as an ideal ceremony location, Oak Knoll has also transformed into: an ever popular lounge seating area, a cocktail hour setting, an instrumental band set up, annnnd yes, as a mechanical bull location as well.

We believe in offering you FULL use of our venue when booking, not just limiting you to one ceremony site and one reception area. How you see fit for each area's use is up to you.

Our Acorn Arch area features the perfect stage that has been custom built to transition into the existing landscape and is surrounded by water features with the babbling Little Dry Creek on one side and our flowing pond on the other.

It has a natural arch in the oak tree above and is nestled in a serene, grassy setting with a multitude of colors in the foliage all around. Whether left au natural or dressed up with an arch or other decor, it is the perfect setting for any event needs.

Most popularly used as an ideal ceremony area, Acorn Arch has also been: a stage for a live band, an area for a DJ booth with custom lights, a cocktail hour setting, and a mechanical bull location.
