Good morning! Well our 2025 grooming season is in the books. It was a short season. Still ridable snow but use caution with rocks, stumps & thin coverage.

Thank you members for renewing. Stay tuned for details on our Groomer Barn Grand Opening and Landowner & Member Appreciation BBQ we are hosting at the barn on Sunday June 22nd.

Happy Spring!

Trail Update; the 110 was icy in spots. We broke it up & brought in what we could from the sides. The 111 is bony in spots. Definitely Spring riding. Get out there, enjoy, ride safe. Looking at the forecast this might be our last weekend.

Hi Folks, Surprisingly riders who came in today said trails are better than expected. We are grooming the 111N & the Greenville run tonight. So stay tuned.

Riders-the owners of the Brownville’s Food Pantry For Deer Fan Page have reached out to me.

They are asking that riders please do not RACE THRU THIS SECTION OF TRAIL and PLEASE DO NOT STOP ON THIS SECTION OF TRAIL.

This landowner has been very generous allowing connectivity from the 110 to ITS82.

We will be redirecting this trail for next year if we cannot be respectful. They have signs on almost every tree on the trail as you pass thru asking you NOT to stop. Yet, you do… #%! The warden service has been notified.

I simply don’t understand folks. Trail access is a privilege not a right. This year I am on the phone almost daily with landowners who are having issues with Riders not being respectful.

At this rate, you may just be riding your $25,000 snowmobile on your ungroomed trail around your house.

Let’s smarten up, respect & thank landowners not p**s them off.

Sorry, I’m on a rant. I firmly believe most riders are amazing & respectful.

I have been trailmaster since 2011 & this has been the worst year with speed & use of the middle finger.

Let’s clean it up folks!

Respectfully Submitted,

Good morning riders! Wow all of our area clubs were out grooming last night! What a beautiful day to ride.

But please slow down & enjoy our scenery-many families will be out with their children.

The Brownville SC groomed the 111N out of Wildwoods last night. Exercise caution on the approach to the new Railroad crossing. We also got the 110 Connector thru the BPond trail out of KI done.

Our immediate area has some fun places to stop in & say Hi, have a snack or just sit & warm up with a nice dinner; @ Ebeemee Snowmobile Club Snack Shack, 5 Lakes Lodge, North South Eats & Wildwoods!

If you have a nice ride make a donation. Remember there is no such thing as a trail fairy. Support the trails you ride!!

Have a great day; Ride Right, Ride Safe & Ride Sober!!

Good Evening Riders, I can’t believe here it is February 20th & I can finally say ALL of our trails have been groomed! It just took more ❄️!!

Last night we opened up the 111S thru the beaver bog to the Hancock Rd. Plus we were able to get thru the quarry on the 110 to the Milo turn.

Ballpark trail thru the deep skidder ruts are finally filled in!!

It took us doing the 111N out of Wildwoods twice last night to get rid of the heavy derby sled traffic plus getting thru the new redirect by the railroad siding by the Schoodic Lake Rd.

Tonight the Lakeview Trail was done & the 110 thru Williamsburg back to the railbed in Jct.

Should be an amazing weekend to ride. Remember it’s still school vacation week. Families will be out showing their children how awesone the sport of snowmobiling is. Please ride right, ride safe, ride sober & slow down!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Riders,

Our area clubs have worked tremendously hard building the amazing trail system we have.

Today I was forwarded a text message from a friend who got a message from a very angry elderly Vietnam vet who although does not own land directly on our Ballpark trail lives in such close proximity we respect not only his wishes but his privacy & have posted riders to please stay on marked trail.

He was upset as riders keep going off trail & near his home.

For respect of our Veteran please stay on the marked trail. Frankly not just here but on any trail.

At 7pm I received a very angry FB message from a landowner & friend who resides on the Lakeview Trail. Threatening trail closure if riders do not slow down.

Initially I was upset that they did not call me when the problem first happened to give us the opportunity to fix it, swearing that they will close the trail & the gate!!

I thought about how to deal with the situation respectfully for a moment and realized yes they did bring their concern to me. Back in 2021 -here’s my post from then:

Lakeview Trail;

Coming out of Brownville by the post office the trail goes along Charlottes Way. The families on this road have 3 beautiful Lab dogs; Mossy, Unice (sp)& Callie. We have HUGE GO SLOW SIGNS up. Please respect these folks and go slow. I know the definition of slow has a different meaning to each person. However I cannot convey enough the importance of going slow on this portion of the trail. Respect these families & their aging pets.

Let’s now flash forward to 2025 only 1 of these beautiful labs are still here with us. Riders are again flying on this stretch of trail!! I would be p**sed too!!

So Riders-I am going to ask you for your respect & understanding to help to keep these trails open.

Remember without these critical connector trails within the streets of small communities you would not be able to connect between the ITS trail system & your favorite destination.

Your local snowmobile clubs work hard over years establishing relationships with landowners.

Help all clubs, stay on marked trails and respect them & the logging operations you encounter was when out riding. Remember trail access is a privilege not a right. Join & support your local club.

Ride Right, Ride Safe, Ride Sober & slow down & Enjoy the beautiful scenery.

If anyone has any questions, concerns or need clarification please feel free to contact me at (207) 965-0000

Good Morning Riders! The 111N was groomed from Wildwoods last night. Yesterday’s snow helped tremendously thru the woods. The railroad crossing is still closed just North of us. It is signed redirecting you to ride the side of the road.

Sundays snow should put us in good shape to get the groomers in all the wooded areas & get everything groomed:

The 111S out of Wildwoods thru the beaver bog.

The Ballpark trail section from the Lakeview turnoff. Deep Skidder ruts from the recent logger operation are frozen & need to be filled in with snow.

The 110 Connector from the Railbed out of Brownville Jct to the Milo turn around at the Jct of ITS82.

The Lakeview trail from the Ballpark Trail Jct to AE Robinsons.

We will groom the 110 Connector tonight to the Greenville turnoff tonight.

Remember it is the Schoodic Lake Fishing Derby this weekend. So watch for vehicles parked on the sides of the camp roads.

Stay Warm & Remember to Ride Right, Ride Safe, Ride Sober & Have Fun!!
