Currently AMP hosts an open mic night on the third Thursday of each month in partnership with the Brownwood Art Association at the Art Building at 215 Fisk Avenue from 6-10 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, musicians who perform will be admitted for free. AMP has plans to organize other events in the future to bring a fusion of music and art appreciation and celebration to the Brownwood Area. Last Night's Open Mic was a big hit! Over 60 guests and 14 musicians, with four straight hours of great music! Big thanks to Amber from The Breeze 96.9 for hanging out with us tonight!

We've had every kind of music tonight! Country, rock, reggae, even classical! Tremendous musicians here in Brownwood!

Open Mic Night is ROCKING! We'll be here until 10 p.m. don't miss out on some great music and truly fantastic art! Only $5 and musicians get in FREE!

Our Mission

AMP (art.music.people) works to bring our community of artists and musicians together in the Brownwood and surrounding area. We are a listening room open mic held on the third Thursday of each month, located at the Brownwood Art Center at 215 Fisk Avenue from 6-9 p.m. Admission is FREE but all donations are appreciated! Also, area food trucks are on site to take care your evening meal plans! So what are you waiting for? Come support and grow your local arts/music scene!

Are you a singer or a songwriter? Interested in performing? Time slots are available at the door on a first come first choice basis.
