To each and every staff member who worked the past two weeks: I thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are normally open 3 days per week, which means we hire part-time employees and schedule all-volunteer staff for 32 hours per week. The past 2 weeks we successfully staffed this hill for an extra 71 hours of open time. I am beyond grateful for the extra time that each of you gave.

The Holiday Period is always a telling time at Christie. Our employees and volunteers are still getting back into the swing of things, or just going through training, and are hit with extended hours and larger-than-normal crowds. My fingers are always crossed that we can get a few weekends under our belt before we go into that rush, but in recent years that just hasn’t been the case. This year’s staff handled the extra shifts, the extra busy and every other extra stressor thrown at them beautifully. I couldn’t be more excited to continue the 24/25 Season with this group of people.

I look forward to next Friday when we can settle into our normal rhythm and continue to give our customers the best winter experience possible. See you on the snow!

🌨️ Don't let last night's rain fool you — we still have plenty of snow, and the conditions are fantastic! 🌟 Our groomers worked hard this morning leaving behind soft, machine-groomed trails perfect for skiing and riding. Tomorrow is looking just as good.
