RIP

29-year old St. Croix, Wisconsin Sheriff's Office Deputy Kaitie Leising, a 3-year veteran of law enforcement, was shot and killed on May 6 investigating a DUI/accident. Deputy Leising responded to a single car accident where a car was in a ditch. During the investigation, she requested the driver take field sobriety tests. The driver suddenly pulled out a handgun and opened fire striking Deputy Leising. Witnesses at the scene attempted life saving measures on Deputy Leising, but she died of her injuries.

Please keep Deputy Leising, her family and the members of the St. Croix Sheriff's Office in your thoughts and prayers.
