We are excited to announce something new coming to the 2025 Fried Pie Fest in Buchanan GA on 9/20! We will be hosting a Quilt Show! The show will take place in the Little Creek One Room Schoolhouse at the north end of the festival. We are partnering with quilters from the Southeastern Quilt & Textile Museum in Carrollton. Cannot wait to show this beautiful work!

We need your help! We are looking for a vendor that we have lost contact information for. The vendor is NOSH and they sell fried pies. They were at the fest in 2024 and we do not have current records to reach them. HELP!

We are looking for some musicians to have a "jam session/open mic show" during the Fried Pie Fest on 9/20/25. This would take place in the Car Show area and front lawn of the Little Creek One Room Schoolhouse at the north end of the festival. What sets S&S Homes Realty apart from other companies? It is the range of services offered. You, not only can purchase a home through them but they offer classes at West Georgia Real Estate Academy, (next door to their office on the Buchanan square), they post tips on making your home more attractive to the buyer, they educate the public on tricky things like an amortization schedules and even have an educational book club posted on their page! Did you know that the Fried Pie Fest is brought to you by the Haralson County Historical Society? We started this awesome festival in 2016 in conjunction with the Tourism team from the Chamber of Commerce.
It has by far exceeded our expectations as have our expenses! To make this happen we raise money via sponsorships to cover things like port a potties, entertainment, insurance, permits, management fees, advertising and more.
Where do the profits go from this fest? The money we earn is used to maintain our historical records and properties, including the Buchanan Haralson Public Library and Courthouse.
Not only does this fest help with our historical needs, but it also brings a huge sum of money into the community. In 2023 we did a survey that estimated $300,000 was spent in Haralson County in just one day! Pretty Awesome!
