We have a winner! Jim Rummy was at the Buckeye Lake Margaritas. It’s located in the village of Buckeye Lake on Rt 79 in the shopping center across from Pizza Cottage. They have the best fresh juice Margaritas, and their Chips & Salsa are delicious. They offer lots of great menu items to choose from; the Enchiladas Supreme and the Buckeye Bowl (Shrimp, Zucchini, Bell Peppers, Roasted Corn and Pineapple over a Bed of Rice) are my personal favorites! Mmmmmm

There were lots of views and guesses, nearly everyone guessed correctly, I guess the orange colors and the sun on the back bench gave it away (We’ve sat many times in those booths). Our next Pirate gathering will be during the Buckeye Lake Winterfest celebration. Saturday, January 25, we’ll be sailing around Buckeye Lake in our land yacht looking for treasure. We’ll post our agenda in a few weeks, but reserve the date me matey’s for a day full of FUN!!!

We have a winner! Jim Rummy was at the R & R Bait & Tackle Store in Buckeye Lake. It’s located on Rt 79 next to the Goodwill store. They sell all kinds of fishing equipment and boating supplies along with live bait. They are very popular with our local fishing crews. It took us a few minutes to find a place in the store for him to stand so it wasn’t too obvious, but behind Jim Rummy is the equipment needed to make your own sinkers and weights for fishing.

There were lots of views and guesses, many thought it was a local hardware store and we can see the reasons behind those guesses. The first person to respond with a correct answer was Don Lewis. He responded to our post in the Buckeye Lake Ohio – Restaurant, Bar & Community News group. Great job recognizing the background Ron. I’d say he’s a successful local fisherman, mostly because he buys his bait from R & R!!! We have a winner! Captain Jim Rummy was at Mike’s Auto Service in Buckeye Lake. He’s located on Rt 79 next to the hardware store. Mike provides honest repair service on many makes of automobiles. He’s a big fan of AMC’s, hence the red, white and blue logo colors behind Jim Rummy. Mike’s Auto Service sponsored Port Royal at the Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest too.

There were lots of views and guesses, but it looks like Mike’s regulars spotted the service desk. The first person to respond with a correct answer was Ron Worley. We have a winner! Captain Jim Rummy was at the Hatchet House in Heath. They are located on Rt 79 between Staples and Raising Cane’s. They offer axe throwing with self scoring, a Rage Room and Splatter Room. They have a bar and they serve pizza’s. They were part of the Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest too.

There were lots of views and a few guesses, I thought Bigfoot would give it away. They feature Bigfoot throughout the business and in their marketing programs. We have a winner! Captain Jim Rummy was at the Blue Heron in Buckeye Lake. We’re fans of great seafood and the Blue Heron offers many tasty seafood options along with creative cocktails. They were part of the Treasure Hunt during Pirate Fest too.

We have a winner! Captain Jim Rummy was on the side of the patio bar at the Mill Dam Corner Grille. One of his favorite hangouts and the Mill Dam hosted a treasure hunt, Pirate Jeep Tour and pirate party during the Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest.

There were lots of views, and many thought he was at Buffalo Lick, probably because of the cowboy boots attached to the bar behind him. Here’s a clue; when he departed he was heading towards the sunset looking for a business with a with a name related to the sea.

We have a winner! Captain Jim Rummy was on the dock at Papa Boo’s. They were participants with a Treasure Chest during the Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest.
We posted this on several groups around the lake and there were some really good guesses. The first person to respond with a correct answer was Jim Davis on the Buckeye Lake Boaters and Friends FB group! Great job recognizing their docks. If you looked closely you would recognize the narrow boards between the dock slips.
