Reading is my first love and my biggest passion, hands down! I also love discussing what I have read with others, which is why I am so very excited to announce Books at The Overlook - a monthly BYOB book club! The book club will launch in February of 2023. We'll meet every third Thursday at The Lawyer's Overlook to chat about our current book of choice. We are just a few days away from our THIRD ANNUAL fall festival here at the farm! Be sure to join us on Saturday from 12-3 pm for hayrides, kids activities, live music, great food, and fabulous vendors. As always, our events at the farm are free, but we are collecting food donations to help out Maryhurst, an organization here in Louisville that services our state's most abused and neglected girls. They are in need of canned vegetables, macaroni and cheese, marshmallows, boxed stuffing, and peanut butter and jelly. There will be a box at the entrance to the festival if you happen to bring any food donations with you. Thanks for helping out, and see you Saturday!

Phil Kollin is a local bourbon aficionado and an Executive Bourbon Steward. Phil has procured three fantastic rare, vintage bourbons and will lead an interactive tasting presentation loaded with amazing stories and history from these three brands:

Old Forester 86 Proof Bourbon - Exported to Japan and bottled in 1990.
Anderson Club 10 Bourbon- Discontinued release bottled in the mid 90's
Blanton's Takara Gold Bourbon - Sold only in Japan.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first food truck event! We had SO much fun chatting with everyone and enjoying the sunshine. Summer Solstice Secret Supper Club was SO MUCH FUN! Carlie Cornett prepared an unparalleled dinner - it was seriously some of the best food I have ever eaten. The mead, cider, and beer from Hive and Barrel Meadery and Mile Wide Beer were delicious and refreshing. But the BEST part was talking to friends new and old, listening to great live music, and taking in the sunset. More details about that menu and other upcoming events will be posted on our website later this weekend. Thanks to everyone who joined us! We loved every minute. ❤️☀️🌻

Our inaugural Secret Supper Club last night was SO MUCH FUN! The food was creative and absolutely delicious, the mead and cider were perfection, and the rich conversations among people meeting and making new friends was so lovely to witness. Bringing people together, building community, and supporting local farms and businesses makes my heart so full and happy! Thanks to George Parker from Hive and Barrel Meadery and to Carlie Cornett and staff from True North Catering for helping to make the evening such a success!

Cutting in the pathway to our new wedding in the woods location! We plan on filling it with pretty river rock. It will be a lovely, shaded space for ceremonies, and it is under a beautiful tree canopy. Lots of shade for those hot summer days.
